First impressions were positive, having viewed the room in advance. An initial mix up by referral team to Kirsty (Seale Mgr) was professionally addressed by Kirsty, this impressed me along with Kirsty + the team going forward.
Room is good + spacious with ensuite toilet + sink.
Mother has been settled in very well & we can already see good improvement in mothers health + wellbeing, as it's only been 6 weeks. The team @Seale are very nice, mother is well supported by all. Overall a great start to what was a stressful period in all our families lives.

I have no doubt at this time mother will thrive at Seale pastures.

Overall Experience
Our mum is 84, severely sight-impaired and living with dementia, so finding the right care home for her D2A placement was very important to our family.
After visiting several homes, we chose Seale Pastures House in Acresford. The bright environment, comfortable en-suite rooms and outdoor areas immediately stood out.
From the moment Mum arrived, the staff helped her settle in with patience, kindness and genuine care. The carers, nursing staff and management team took time to understand her needs and have supported her with dignity and respect throughout.
In just five weeks, Mum's wellbeing has improved significantly. She has regained weight, her confidence has grown and she has made new friends.
Most importantly, Mum feels safe, happy and cared for. After completing her D2A placement, she chose to remain at Seale Pastures House as her permanent home. That says everything about how comfortable and supported she feels there.

We would highly recommend.

My mum was admitted in February because the family were unable to keep her safe in her home due to dementia. Mum was very resistant at first. The manager and senior staff put us all at ease from the start, reassuring us that we made the best choice for Mum's safety. Mum has settled in incredibly well. She always looks clean and well groomed. She's putting on weight each week and looks a picture of physical health. Mum has made friends and enjoys her food, and takes part in activities. Mum being in Seale Pastures House has enabled us to sleep at night with the knowledge that she is safe and well looked after, thanks to all of the carers!

Mum has been a resident for nearly 3 years now. She has mobility issues and worsening dementia. The staff are caring and patient with her and deal admirably with her over changing needs.

A lovely place for mum to live, was so hard to decide to put mum into a home but we made a great choice at Seale Pastures. Mum always looks clean, smart and cared for. Despite her ongoing dementia mum was settled in well, making friends and joining in many activities. She also loves her perfect private area which is her room.

Always kept informed about Ivy. Staff are 1st class and go the extra mile to make sure Ivy is well looked after. The one little thing is I would like Ivy to have some help in organising her clothes for the following day. Ivy is a early riser and sometimes puts the wrong type of clothes on in the morning before she is taken down to breakfast. Keep up the good work.

Mum has been in Seale Pastures 7 months now. The staff are all very friendly and caring. The home is kept clean and mum's bedroom is too. The food is very good and the residents are well looked after. They hold events for family to join in which is very good. We have no concerns with mum being cared for here, they keep us informed and up to date if there are any concerns. Overall, clean, friendly and homely where all are well looked after.

Mum is very well cared for. She is generally well presented and all staff treat her with a friendly, caring manner. When there is an issue I am contacted and consulted about the best approach to be taken as necessary. The staff go above and beyond to offer a happy and joyful approach to Christmas with an early Christmas dinner with family and Christmas tea party with entertainment. My only concern is the lack of appropriate day to day activity for my mum who has limited vision and lack of mobility- word searches and crafts are inappropriate for her.

Mum was discharged to Seale Pastures after a few weeks in hospital as she had been neglecting to care for herself due to her dementia. It was a confusing time but the staff were wonderful, very caring and helped her to settle in really quickly. There was always activities to engage with and the staff took time to chat with the residents and make them feel at home. They encouraged her to shower, get her hair done and change her clothes and she did put on a little weight, she was much calmer and contented after just a few days. The home is clean and warm and she had a nice room with its own WC. The food was good (we attended a family Xmas dinner, which was a lovely occasion). There were plenty of drinks and snacks between meals too. Staff always answered my questions as to how she was and what she had been doing and rang me if there were any issues. I was very happy with the care Mum received and my only reason for moving her was due to the distance I had to travel to visit.

I am very happy with the care given to Mum at Seale. I know that she is being looked after and given the support that she now needs.
The staff at Seale are all so friendly and welcoming. My daughters, husband and brother all feel very comfortable when visiting.
Liaison is great and I feel fully informed regarding Mum's welfare. I know that Mum feels that Seale is her home now and as we are only 10 mins away we can visit often.
I am very thankful that we found Seale (after visiting a number of placements) Mum's room is lovely, nicely decorated and spacious.

But it is the staff, carers, cleaners, kitchen staff and admin that make Seale such a lovely care home with such a warm, friendly atmosphere.

All aspects of mothers care continue to be good. The staff are approachable and are willing to help in any way they can. Everywhere is kept clean and tidy. The food is good and there all ways a choice. Support is given from all members of staff. My mothers dignity is treat with respect and her cleanliness is looked after carefully. She is always included in activities. The management will go out of there way to help and will find a solution to difficulties, we have been able to have the room mother sleeps in with her personal effects displayed as she wished. It has been comfort to witness my mother comfortable.
