Creedy House is an impressive Victorian building which has been sympathetically converted into an attractive and spacious nursing/ dementia care home.

The house has been attractively decorated and boasts elegant interiors and beautiful, accessible gardens. The dementia unit- called The Lodge, has been renovated in colours and themes to reflect the needs of those living with dementia. It has long open corridors so lots of space for those who wish to wander. The Lodge is ground level and looks over the south facing garden. The corridor has different themed sections that encourages conversations and reminiscence.

The home can accommodate up to 44 people who have nursing and dementia care needs. There are two rooms that accommodate a couple/ people wanting to share.

Staff provide a person-centred approach to care helping people to maintain their independence and promoting choice. Professionals want everything they do in the home to be driven by the needs, abilities, and aspirations of their residents.

Creedy House offers home-cooked food, a library, raised garden beds for green-fingered residents, music conservatory, sun lounge, quiet room and a full and diverse programme of activities. The home has a hair salon and chiropodist who visit routinely and as needed.

There is a real family feel within the Home.

Staff encourage families and friends to be an active part of the community and value the role which relatives and friends play in the care of residents and provide support for them whenever it's needed.

We have a hairdressing salon and the hairdressers visits alternate weeks.
Chiropody is offered 6 weekly.
These services hold an additional cost so a little pocket money is requested and kept safe by the Home administrator

Creedy House is a superb, well presented nursing/care home. The manager is so hands on and devoted to her residents and likewise her staff. My mother and my father were very comfortable here. I can rest assured that they are cared for with compassion and dignity. I would recommend Creedy House without

The staff are very friendly and looked after my husband really well. He was not able to join in some activities due to poor eyesight, but they tried to find things for him to do - exercises, etc.
The food was usually very well presented, and staff were on hand to help if necessary.
His room was comfortable
and airy. The garden was well maintained and nice to sit out in on good days.

Our family have been delighted with the care my mother in law has received. We have been so very impressed by the expertise of the staff. We can totally relax now, which we couldn't do previously. It is a great relief for me to see her stress level reduce and no longer looking traumatised and shell-shocked.
At each visit, we see the same staff and they know my mother in law so well. Thank you all for caring for my mother in law so well.

My mum has been at Creedy Care Home now for 12 years and she has received the best care that anyone could ask for their loved ones my mum has been none verbal now for a few years but all the staff that care for her understand when she is not her normal self or when she has been ill and in some cases
very poorly but because of the care she receives that is why she is still with us thankfully and all the staff are brilliant and friendly and easy to approach if I have any questions to ask and they always keep me informed of any changes to my mum which helps me understand her illness better i honestly believe the care that she receives is the reason she is still with us

It is a lovely nursing home. The nurses and carers are great, and really care about the residents. There seem to be lots of activities for the residents, and many visitors - even a pony! There are singers, chair aerobics, sing-a-longs and artists that give art lessons. It's a bright, cheery place with
a good energy about it.

Its so good to see the daily interaction between staff and the residents. On so many occasions I see my wife befriended and actively included with them during their daily tasks.
Its also not a problem to just pop your head into the office for a quick catch regarding any ongoing situations that may
have occurred and be listened to and appropriate action taken where necessary.

There are doing a great job and I am always made to feel welcome by everyone and feel I have a good relationship with the staff and they always keep me informed of events and any information I might need in regards to my dad. The staff at the nursing home are attentive to the residents needs at all times. The staff are kind, reassuring and extremely patient in their dealings with all residents. The staff are also very friendly to visitors; offering information or refreshment that is required. Creedy House is kept very clean
and well maintained indoors. There are many items of interest on the walls intended to trigger happy memories for all. I am confident in leaving my loved one in their care.

The Manger and her team are amazing. The looked after my Father extremely well and attended to all his needs. They always had a chat with family when visiting and made us all feel relaxed and happy that my Father was being cared for in a caring way. The team talked to my Father as though he was a friend

I've found that since my wife has been in care at Creedy House she is so much calmer and settled than she has been for the past 15 months. She's only been here for a couple of months and I'm very happy with her care, well-being, and attention given by all the staff. Most excellent!

The staff are very helpful always someone there when I leave to take care of my husband and settle him down as he gets very agitated when I'm about to leave. My husband enjoys the activities and when I'm there and it's music he loves to have a dance with me and a lot of the colouring he has done is
put up on the walls. I cannot find fault in Creedy at all.

Dad has been a resident at Creedy House for just over six months and has settled in well. The manager is approachable and has been supportive of us as a family. Dad's mobility issues have been addressed and although his physical and emotional needs are changing the staff have adapted with compassion
and understanding. The home is welcoming, and clean and the staff are both professional and friendly.

My mother went into Creedy House suffering from dementia, having done so for a number of years. She attacked my husband in 2022 claiming he was a burglar. The police and ambulance crews attended and it was decided for her own safety to take her to Creedy House. This was the best decision we have ever
made for her. She was very happy going there and in her own way, still. The staff love her to pieces. She loves the garden and from her window watches out for burglars in the area. Creedy House is well kept, clean with good food. My mum is well cared for and loved like one of the family. Thank you Creedy House.
