Review of Roden Hall Care Home with Nursing

It is almost 2 years since dad first went to Roden from the first, everyone has been so kind and helpful, not just to dad but to the family. You can also see the same care given to the other residents. Food, comfort, laundry, cleaning, the list goes on for excellent service in what must at times be difficult circumstances for the staff. Thank you Roden!

Review of Roden Hall Care Home with Nursing

Since my mother's admittance to Roden Hall in 2012 her care has been very good. The staff have always been kind and caring. I visit my mother 3 times a week and if for any reason I have to miss a visit I make a telephone call and the message is passed on to my mother and I know that she is being well cared for. The dialogue between myself and staff at Roden Hall has always been very good. I have always been kept fully informed about my mother's health, either in person on my visits, or by telephone in between visits when necessary.

Review of Roden Hall Care Home with Nursing

Finding Roden hall with nursing care was essential. My husband is helpless and dependant on others, after a massive stroke years ago. Roden Hall has been his haven and home for two years. It is set in attractive gardens, and has wonderful carers and staff. I can visit anytime and they make me very welcome. They offer compassionate and caring, clothing to Joe. he is completely happy in his special bed, slumbering and watching TV. It is marvellous to see him settled and happy without me. I am thankful to those caring and hardwoking staff members.

Review of Roden Hall Care Home with Nursing

Excellent care home for my husband (stroke victim) - totally dependent - on the care and nursing provided. Staff are welcoming to me and lovely with Joe, who needs kindness and understanding. I looked after him for 8 years and now feel that he is in safe hands and a pleasant environment. He thinks it is a nice hotel! Which is a relief to me.

Review of Roden Hall Care Home with Nursing

The staff at this care home are excellent - always polite and helpful and very caring to my friend. Rooms are comfortable, warm and clean. The building is Victorian and needs money spent on the outside. Grounds are pleasant.

Review of Roden Hall Care Home with Nursing

My husband has been in Roden for nearly two years. The staff have always been very kind and considerate to him. I have always found them to be very helpful and informative. Being in a nursing home can never be the same as being at home but my husband is happy in Roden and would not want to be anywhere else.

Review of Roden Hall Care Home with Nursing

My mother has been in Roden Hall for the biggest part of ten years and she will be 93 in April. The only thing Mum can move is one arm so she is bedridden. Since Mum has been at Roden she has had all the good care that she needs. It would have been very difficult to give her that care at home. The care workers are very kind and willing to meet all her needs and they will let you know if she has had any mishaps or needs anything.

Review of Roden Hall Care Home with Nursing

Roden Hall has been like a home to my dad the last twelve months he has been there. The staff are all lovely, and have really looked after my dad. When we have been to visit they are lovely spending time having a little chat with us and always making us feel welcome. We knew my dad was having the best care and for that we can't thank them enough.

My mother has been a resident at Roden Hall for approx 10 months, her care has been of a very high standard. The room is cleaned, bed linen is always freshly laundered. The staff are always available to speak to and keep us informed of any issues or concerns. Food is adapted to her requirements. It brings peace of mind to know that she is cared for so well. Brilliant staff.

Review of Roden Hall Care Home with Nursing

I am writing this comment on behalf of my wife who is unable to make an informed assessment. However, she was able to say that her two week respite stay was very happy for her, and coupled with my own observations whilst visiting, I confirm the excellent ratings below. The staff were very caring and helpful. I would recommend the home to anyone needing good quality nursing care.

Before selecting Roden Hall I spoke to a number of relatives of residents and former residents. Their comments about care were positive. I was not disappointed. My mother has been very happy and has a great rapport with truly caring staff. Visits are like going to a family home. Thoroughly recommended.

Review of Roden Hall Care Home with Nursing

My uncle has been in this home for 2 years. He is well looked after, seems happy, he says the food is good, some food he dislikes, he is able to order food he prefers, his day revolves around meal times and food, it is important he is able to choose. The room is kept clean, it is furnished to a high standard but it is value for money. The home in general is well kept, inside is clean and warm. There is no odour as there can be in some homes. The staff are friendly and he likes them.
