She receives wonderful care from motivated caring staff, from the management, carers, cleaning staff even the kitchen staff, where they provide healthy nutrites meal every day including old fashioned puddings, daily health care provided by health professionals, providing support to all the residents,The family are so pleased we were able to find a friendly down to earth residential home for my sister, we have piece of mind knowing she's being well treated with respect and dignity, we have no hesitation in recommending Healey lodge for your loved ones.

The home have gone above and beyond to support the needs of my mother.
It's very family orientated and they have taken their time to understand her needs.

We can’t thank the manager and team enough for all they do.

Overall Experience

Healey Lodge is a welcoming and comfortable home. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. My Father comments that there is always someone available to chat or make him a cup of tea no matter what time of day it is. There is a varied menu and the meals are tasty and satisfying. The staff treat my Father with respect and are aware of his individual needs and preferences. There is warmth and laughter in their interactions with him and he is encouraged to join in the many and varied activities but his preferences are respected. My Father's room is clean and comfortable and he can personalise it with his own belongings. I am confident that he is being well cared for and feel encouraged to ask about his well-being and day to day care. It is reassuring to know that my Father feels safe and well cared for and that he is happy to be there.

My mother is a resident at the care home and has dementia and heart problems. The manager and her staff are excellent and give my mum all the care she needs. Nothing is too much trouble for them and someone is always available to help and answer any questions you may have. The residents are treated with dignity and respect. There are activities available to stimulate residents. The food is excellent and there is a varied menu. The home is spotlessly clean and Mum is always clean and appropriately dressed.

I have every confidence that my mum is well cared for by caring and professional staff.

Overall Experience

The atmosphere at Healey Lodge is very relaxed. Making your own personal choices is encouraged, you can make your room your own, using your own furniture and pictures etc rather than rely on what is provided. The staff are extremely helpful and very professional, nothing seems too much trouble for them. There is a good selection of home cooked meals to choose from along with tea and coffee throughout the day. The home is spotlessly clean and well maintained. Different activities are available each day for those wanting to take part and there is a large tv lounge if you prefer something a little quieter. The home has a large secluded garden with lots of seating dotted around for the nice weather. I originally came here reluctantly from hospital for six weeks rehab. I decided to stay...

Staff are very helpful and caring. Food is very good and I can smell it and will stay for lunch. My mum is well looked after and her dignity is very well looked after and protected so much as staff possibly can. The manager is very helpful and is always willing to sit and chat should you so need to do.

My sister, has lived at Healey Lodge since December 2013. There have improvements in every area over the last period since the home manager started. The food caters to her needs as she is a type 2 diabetic. The staff are friendly and welcoming and I always get offered a cup of tea as soon as walk through the door. The home is welcoming and with a family atmosphere and my sister is well looked after. She is happier than she has ever been.
