Hesketh Park Lodge

My only suggestions for improvement are - more thorough & frequent room cleaning and bed making

I come here every couple of months and have been very impressed by the openness, friendliness & care given to my friend in Room 1. He is so happy here. Congratulations to you all! Thank you.

I am very pleased with how my mum has settled into Hesketh Park Lodge. The care mum is receiving is excellent. The staff are very respectful to the residents and to visitors as well as to each other. Nothing is any trouble. Activities team are just fantastic and encourages and involves mum continually. Everyone gets on well and have lots of fun. Reception staff very friendly and organised. I am delighted Mum has chosen HPL to live. Lovely location opposite the park.

My mum enjoys the varied activity timetable and socialising with the residents. Also, a great location for walks out. Thank you to all staff for making a very difficult transition for my mum go so smoothly. You all go above and beyond.

My relative is a resident at Hesketh Park Lodge and I want to say the service we have had from the start has been excellent from initial enquiry to move in and the continuing care and empathy they receive is second to none. The knowledge of the sales advisor who initially saw us and explained the whole process and arranged the move into the home made the transition into care so easy. The care they recieve is 10/10, the home is so welcoming and all the staff are so friendly and professional. There are lots of activities and the home is so clean the rooms are so spacious, I would recommend this home for anyone looking for residentail or nursing care.

Staff are so friendly and welcoming looked after my husband like he was a family member. Every single member of staff. So impressed.

Very pleased with the care my mother is getting in the home, and I feel I have made the right decision choosing Hesketh Park Lodge.

The home is always kept clean and tidy and the food always seems to be of a good quality.

My wife has been a resident at The Lodge for the past 7 months. She suffers from vascular dementia. Her accommodation is very good, and the meals are of a good standard. What excels here is the quality of care and support, which is outstanding. All the staff are well trained and are extremely pleasant. Whilst I do not want to differentiate from a great team, I must mention Max, who handles the social events, etc. He is a gem and helps my wife through what is a very difficult period in her life.

My only comment is that the carpet in her room, particularly round where she sits is quite marked.

I'm extremely happy with the care my father is receiving at Hesketh Park Lodge. The home is beautifully kept, spotlessly clean & I'm always greeted by a friendly face at reception. My father is kept clean, shaven & in fresh clothes daily, his finger & toenails are clipped when needed & I only have to ask when his hair needs a cut. He recently spent a day at hospital to have a growth removed from his arm and the staff were amazed at the condition of his skin as he was checked all over for any other growths. My father has been bed bound for a few years now and the nurses said they would have expected his skin to have breakouts. It meant the world to me to have been told by someone in the nursing profession & I know that is all down to the care he is receiving & for that I would like to express my thanks to the wonderful staff at Hesketh Park Lodge.

With what has been a difficult year for our family the staff at Hesketh Lodge have been wonderful looking after Christine with her complex needs. They are always pleasant and helpful.

Amazing progress thanks to the quality of nurses readily at hand. A joyful place & a home with wholesome mutual support and concern for residents. bless two and a half years.

She was very, very poorly, we were distraught and grateful for the support they offered. I have given 5 stars but I would give more. EVERYONE at this organisation stepped up. They were outstanding. The management had developed systems that WORKED VERY WELL. Nurses were AWESOME, so caring and extremely professional and effective. The care workers were LOVING and KIND. If anyone is reading this and wanting to get into this valuable area of care work COME HERE. They were SELFLESS. My only regret is her not being able to participate in the entertainments for residents that were available because she had a life limiting illness. This is a happy place for those who LOVE LIFE...

My mum needed a break from looking after my dad. I was impressed with what Hesketh Park Lodge could provide. The home visit prior to Dad being admitted put my mind at rest. Management team are excellent and ensured dad got a few extras to make his stay more comfortable. The care team were also excellent. Thanks again.

I would just like to say that the carers, nursing staff and management have been outstanding, my wife and I had our wedding day held there and the management went above and beyond our expections, the care, cleanliness and safetyy that was given to my wife was excellent. I would recommend Hesketh Park Lodge to anybody.

I was very impressed with this care home. The staff are very pleasant, caring & helpful. They provided an an amazing venue for my friend's wedding on Saturday & were extremely accomodating. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

Hesketh Park Lodge provided 5 star care for my Grandad. She was welcomed and cared for by all the staff and nurses. They showed incredible kindness and compassion to him during his final weeks of life. I cannot recommend this care home enough! I will be forever grateful.

Personal and professional staff. Comfortable and clean environment. My mum is treated with respect and dignity and we as a family always feel welcomed when visiting. The activities team, in particular, goes above and beyond to ensure Mum is encouraged to get involved.
