Wii Love Being a Fit Care Home

The residents of Bryn Celyn care home, owned by Hallmark Healthcare, have been given a hi-tech treat by their Home Manager, Carol Hoskins, in a bid to help them stay fit, healthy and young at heart.

The care home located in Maesteg invested in a Nintendo Wii for their residents after raising the funds through in-house raffles.

Carol said, “I wanted to buy something that would not only give residents a great deal of enjoyment but would also encourage them to be active. The Wii is a great way of stimulating both the body and mind and will encourage our residents to interact not only with each other but members of staff and also family and friends when they come and visit. It’s proving to be a great deal of fun.”
