Happy living for the years ahead |

Date of article: 01-Feb-10 As England’s largest not-for-profit provider of housing and care for older people, services include retirement housing, care homes and care and support in your own home. The new branding is being rolled out across all Anchor services, which operate from more than 1,000 locations across the country. The branding reflects Anchor’s focus on providing great places to live and fantastic care. Acting Chief Executive Jane Ashcroft said: “We want to make it easier for our customers to access the right service for them. Clear, consistent branding that makes it clear that all our services are part of the same organisation is one way of achieving that. “The branding is based on sound research and has been tested with customers and staff, including Anchor’s Customer Services Committee. It is just one of the ways in which we are ensuring we are always focused on making customers happy.” The new logo is an ‘A’ character made from two supporting beams that form a house shape or upward arrow. The middle bar of the ‘A’ is a smile that plays on our new strapline: “Happy living for the years ahead.” Changes to stationery and other branded items will be implemented over the coming months, meaning minimal costs and saving money by making our marketing more cost-effective – meaning no costs need to be passed onto customers. |
