DC Care is pleased to announce the recent sale of The Turrets acting on behalf of Mrs Arnold, who has operated the home for 17 years and who has decided to retire from the care sector.

Located in the popular residential suburb of St George in Bristol, the home is conveniently situated within walking distance of all local amenities. The home, which is currently registered for 10, was formerly two adjoining semi-detached houses. The properties were converted by Mrs Arnold for care home use in 1995.

Following the decision to sell, Mrs Arnold approached DC Care to identify and introduce an established operator within the learning disabilities sector who had the knowledge and experience to ensure that the home would continue to be operated at the current high standard.

Mrs Arnold commented; "DC Care worked very hard to ensure we had the right team in place, including solicitors. Clare Jones at DC Care worked closely with Mark Ashton of Arscotts Solicitors and this team approach helped the transaction to complete within a short period of time. I am delighted with how the sale was managed."

The home has been purchased by Marsden Healthcare Ltd, company managed by Mr Jassal and Mr Khanna, who were seen as ideal operators to acquire The Turrets as they are currently expanding their business portfolio and were seeking new opportunities to develop high quality services.

The home was initially appraised by Andrew Sandel and the sale process was managed by Clare Jones at head office.
