It’s National Care Home Open Day this week and The Knowles care home in Tile Hill Village, is looking forward to opening its doors to the local community.
Everyone is invited to pop in and enjoy a day of activities and entertainment at the home in Duggins Lane, on the outskirts of Balsall Common, Solihull, from 11am on Friday, June 17th.
There will be a tea party with scrumptious cakes, with refreshments throughout the day, whilst the ever popular Cat’s Pyjamas. Productions are set to go along to perform 'Bless 'Em All', a musical love story told through the best songs and best times of World War Two.
Home manager Hannah Jones said: “National Care Home Open Day is a fantastic chance for the local community to meet some really unique, intelligent and charming characters and The Knowles has no shortage of these.
“We are looking forward to a fun, entertaining day with the local community, whilst our care team and staff members will be on hand to provide an insight into what it’s like to live and work at The Knowles. We will also be giving advice to those who are helping a loved one make the transition and talking through our pioneering dementia practices.”
