The Willows care home set to welcome local community

It’s National Care Home Open Day this week and The Willows care home in Coventry is looking forward to opening its doors to the local community.

Everyone is invited to pop in and enjoy a day of activities and entertainment at the home in Westminster Road, starting at 11am on Friday, June 17th.

There will be refreshments throughout the day, whilst the ever popular Sentimental Journey is set to come along to perform a timeless array of music to stir the memories.

Home manager Bev Jones said: “National Care Home Open Day is a fantastic chance for the local community to meet some really unique, intelligent and charming characters and The Knowles has no shortage of these.

“We are looking forward to a fun, entertaining day with the local community, whilst our care team and staff members will be on hand to provide an insight into what it’s like to live and work at The Willows. We will also be giving advice to those who are helping a loved one make the transition and talking through our pioneering dementia practices.”
