I cannot thank the manager and his family enough for taking care of dad. I would also like to thank the wonderful staff. Navara Lodge is a very good care home. Dad was there for about 10 months and in that time was treated with respect, compassion and professionalism. I have nothing but praise for these amazing people. Would I recommend Navara Lodge? Absolutely.
I have no reservation in recommending Navara Lodge.
My friend went to live in Navara Lodge in 2017, and we count ourselves very luck that she was able to stay there till her recent death. Navara Lodge is a small, family run business recently refurbished attractively but keeping its homely atmosphere. Many of the staff have been there a long time, which is reassuring and all the carers I met were very kind and extremely patient with the residents and welcoming to visitors. My friend's dementia became very advanced but she was always treated lovingly and with dignity. The owner makes himself readlity available to discuss concerns with family and friends of the residents. The food always smells appetising. I always felt that it was the well-being of the residents, and not profit, that was the owner's priority. We were very touched that both he and his son attended the funeral and the later thanks giving service for my friend - they viewed her (and the other residents) as family.
My mother was a resident at Navara Lodge for eight years. She was always treated with dignity and compassion. The staff were excellent and always kept me informed and welcomed me the house. The management team are professional and acted timely if any medical issues arose. I cannot recommend Navara Lodge highly enough.
Navara Lodge is a very high-quality facility. It is very clean and well-maintained. The owner and his family are very caring and the staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. The food particularly seems to be excellent.
I encouraged my friend to move into accommodation although like most elderly people she wanted to remain in her home. However within a week she was at home and fulfilled. The care and affection shown to her with utmost respect was heartwarming. The property was warm, clean and well-decorated. The staff all day smiling and caring. My friend passed recently having lived at Navara Lodge for nine years. I will always be grateful to the care manager and his team.
My mother-in-law is cared for by friendly, professional staff who always have time to provide help whenever needed. They genuinely care and their consideration has helped my mother-in-law to put weight on and feel happier. Navara Lodge provides a safe and clean home that supports the day-to-day needs of my mother-in-law so that she can continue to enjoy her final years.
My mother has been very well cared for by kind and considerate staff since she arrived 18 months ago. Mum now gets the help she needs, more help with day-to-day living and this is provided with patience and compassion. Navara Lodge is therefore more than a 'home from home' because they now provide the care that makes my mum's life a little easier for her.
