Reviewer Connection to Broadoaks Residential Home
Review submitted from a Website Submission by Christina K (Daughter of Resident) on Monday 25 September 2017. Relates to September 2017.
My father spent a week's respite at this care home. The staff were friendly and professional. My father has stayed at various care homes however this is the first care home that I can honestly say that he was 'at ease' in. He suffers from Lewy body dementia and all the staff were knowledgeable in this condition. I know they have just expanded and opened a specialist dementia area and although not all of the facilities were up and running I do believe that when this happens it will be fantastic. I felt happy leaving him there.
