My Sister and I chose this care home for our Mother after seeing the excellent reviews on here and visiting the care home. Our Mother was 'cared for' for 8 months and the experience left a lot to be desired. On several occasions, we considered moving Mother to another care home but she was very weak
and had become comfortable with her surroundings. The care staff at Stambridge Meadows are working under very difficult circumstances, they appear to be thin on the ground, understaffed, and stretched to the limit. A couple of staff members are outstanding, competent, personable, caring and were a pleasure to meet. There was little or no evidence of activities for the residents, we visited often when allowed. The office staff and management leave a lot to be desired. Our Mother passed away in August 2022, and we have had no contact from the Care Home Manager offering her condolences. Think carefully before you choose this care home. It's expensive and badly managed.

Our mother passed away last month after being a resident for over a year at Stambridge Meadows. The family would like to acknowledge the skill, kindness and dedication of the staff and management of Stambridge Meadows who won her confidence very soon after her arrival at the home. When it was impossible
to visit due to COVID, we telephoned every day and was always greeted with patience and a kind word. The home is clean and the grounds beautiful. A home, however, is nothing without professional caring people running it, and in our opinion, Stambridge Meadows has definitely got those people. The family would once again like to say thank you to everybody at Stambridge Meadows for taking such good care of our mother.

I feel reassured that my mum is happy and well cared for. Senior carers are always so helpful and give informed updates, particularly when we couldn't visit. I have given facilities satisfactory as I haven't seen them due to Covid restrictions.

Experience has been very helpful. The staff have a duty of care for their residents, and this has been evident on every visit. The home has provided a safe and comfortable room during Covid visits, which have been very appreciated.

The staff are friendly, extremely professional and caring. Though having to do a difficult job, they always have time for questions. The residents seem content, happy and very well cared for. The location and grounds are beautiful.

My mother is very happy at Stambridge Meadows. The staff are very kind and treat my mother like a family member. the home is warm, friendly and inviting, and my mother would hate to leave Stambridge Meadows; she is so settled here! She loves all the male staff skittle more than the female staff! They
have good fun with her! We are very happy she is in such a caring environment!

Due to Covid restrictions, I have not been able to enter the home since February 2020 and had just one outside socially distance meet with my relative during the summer. It is therefore difficult to provide responses based on recent experience. The carers and management have always been very caring
and helpful in what can obviously be a difficult job, and it appears from the recent updates received as well as the newsletter, a welcome addition, especially in the difficult times, that they have been arranging some interesting activities to keep the residents occupied.

My mum has been at Stambridge Meadows for a year now. She has dementia but has settled in so well due to the professional and loving care of all the staff there. I cannot praise them enough; they are very kind and patient, have always kept me fully formed throughout a very difficult year for both staff
and residents.

My dad has been at Stambridge Meadows for 4-months now. Although unsure at the start of his stay, Dad struggled as he likes to be independent. The staff were great and very understanding/patient.
He is no certain he is in the right place. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and approachable and
who show so much love and quality care for the residents, but also have time for relatives, which is really nice.
The staff are smiling and welcoming. We are happy that my dad is receiving good compassionate care.

I cannot thank the staff of Stambridge enough for the love and care they showed to my father, especially in the later stages of his life. The staff made Stambridge Meadows his home and became his family. Always friendly, caring and compassionate the staff focussed on his needs and provided him with
the best care he could have.
As a daughter living far away, I always felt confident that dad was safe in their care, welcoming me each time I visited, popping ahead round the door to say hello and keeping me up to date with his needs.
Even after his passing they welcomed me with open arms and shared my pain, for that, I thank them dearly. Today I received some photos that were left behind in his room, they took the time to send them to me because they care. Thank you.

Mum has lived at Stambridge Meadows for over two years.
The staff make sure that she is looked after in a caring manner.
Any small complaints are dealt with immediately.
I would recommend this care home to anyone that is looking for a home that provides excellent care and friendly staff.

Sadly my mum didn't have her next review as she sadly died on 11th February 2018. I would recommend this home to anyone, everybody is lovely. My mum was well looked after and was happy there. Me and my husband always felt welcomed.

Beautiful setting and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. As a visitor, the overall ambience is relaxed and facilities excellent.
Our private room is clean as are the toilet and wash area and the room is bright and airy. Overall a very nice place to be in. The staff are very caring. We've been
visiting for two years plus and always look forward to our visits.

My mother moved to Stambridge Meadows three and a half years ago.
The lounge/dining and activities rooms are bright, airy and spacious.
The members of staff are kind, thoughtful and caring. They go above and beyond their work remit.


I would rate the home as very good. My mother could not be in
