Remyck House recognises that in order to deliver the high quality care service that residents deserve, they need to recruit the right individuals. They base the recruitment of all staff on several key principles; commitment, compassion and shared values. The home’s staff team consists of a Registered Manager who is supported by the Deputy Manager and highly skilled and trained care staff, chefs, and an activities organiser.
Residents benefit from small group and one-to-one activities as well as events, entertainments and outings, all tailored to residents’ interests and backgrounds. These activities include but are not limited to:
Exercises, bingo, board games, gardening, crafts & painting, quizzes, baking and cooking, flower arranging, outings to the community and visits from external entertainers – including Carousel Theatre and music bands. There are also a range of clubs and the home welcomes visits from local schools, therapy animals and groups to the home to enjoy spending time with residents.
