The Deputy Manager, Natasha Sykes has attained RMA level 4 and has many years of invaluable experience in leadership and management, previously registered in a management and leadership role. Natasha is qualified to oversee all medication management within the Home.
Sara has extensive experience in Health and Social care and is qualified at level 3 in the Health and Social Care diploma.
She has completed the 12 steps to the end-of-life, with over 8 years of experience as an End-of-Life Champion.
Nutrition is expertly tailored, developed, and delivered by our head cook, Jacqui White. Jacqui takes pride in preparing Healthy Home-Cooked meals which include locally sourced ingredients, ensuring menus are regularly updated and reflect service users' choices and preferences. Skills and training include Food Safety levels 1 and 2, Specialized diets that incorporate the IDDSI framework, Dysphagia, Diabetes and Allergens.
The Activities coordinator Caroline Parker has over 22 years of experience in working within Health and Social care and holds NVQ level 3. Caroline oversees activities for all service users and centres her approach on promoting positive risk-taking in attaining individuals’ goals which include, one-to-one reminiscing, and support out to Local markets, coffee shops, day clubs and lunches. Caroline also organizes all events and entertainment at St Elizabeth.
All other staff in our team are involved in an ongoing training development plan which includes all mandatory training and any other training that they have a particular interest in. All staff have the ability and knowledge to deal with the needs of our service users and deliver person-centred care Recruitment of new staff is led using value-based qualities to ensure our staff team can naturally demonstrate kindness and consideration. We also aim to ensure that every member of staff has at least achieved an NVQ level 2/Care Certificate.
