My 91-year-old father has been cared for at Lyndhurst Residential Home now for nearly 3 years. He suffers from dementia and struggles with walking. I cannot praise the staff enough for the care, love, respect and patience they have given my father and the family. They always make us feel as part of one big family!

Nice friendly staff with a nice day room at the front, very clean. Always offering tea/coffee on arrival. Good attention to residents and nice touch giving a birthday card to my uncle. The only thing I could criticise is that I gave my aunt a birthday present for her birthday which has not been found to this day!

Many thanks for taking the time to send in a kind review for us Katherine. I have passed on the issue surrounding the present to our Deputy Manager and she is going to look into it for you.

Mum has now been a resident at Lyndhurst Residential Home for 2 yrs & 8 months and her time spent there has been, on the whole, a very pleasant experience. Mum, like us all, has her good and bad days but generally she appears very happy. This in the main is due to the care and attention given to her by the Lyndhurst staff. My wife & I visit regularly, occasionally at irregular times of the day and evening and have without exception always found mum in good order, clean, well presented and in good spirits. The staff are always very friendly and polite to us, and the residents respond very well to them. The whole house has a very homely feel to it and we always receive a warm welcome from the staff and residents when we visit.
