This care home maintains a high standard of care for residents if needed . The food is home cooked and of a very high standard. There are events from time to time for residents including a summer barbecue , Diwali and Christmas Celebrations . The rooms have a TV , en-suite bathroom and the house keeping at this home is outstandingly good . The rooms are quiet and not noisy basically furnished but residents can bring their own furniture if they wish .
The care my late husband experienced was so thorough and kind. He was attended regularly and treated well. The food was well-prepared, varied and enjoyable when he was well enough to eat. He was medicated regularly when his left drew to a close. The staff were gentle. Christmas time was especially important as a party was catered for and a solo voila player helped the residents get into the mood of the time, singing carols and listening to the soloist play her instrument. My husband seem enthralled despite his condition and with their help he managed to enjoy his last Christmas alive. I thank them from the bottom of my heart for all their time, effort and care.
My mother has been very well looked after at Cumberland Court. Her room is clean and tidy and is always warm. The staff are friendly and always keep us updated.
It was a great pleasure to look after your lovely mum under our care in Cumberland court. You are very helpful with her care.
A first class establishment which made my friend feel extremely welcomed. His subsequent care has been impressive. The staff are all extremely caring and professional. Well done.
Very happy with the care that my mother receives. She is well cared for and treated with respect by all the staff. She is always clean and tidy and always appears to be happy.
Staff and management at Cumberland Court very kind and friendly. Residents welfare and well being paramount. The ambience is warm and homely.
Dad was admitted to Cumberland in February 2021. Since that time he has received constant care and support from the team at the home. The standard of care has always been of the highest order, and our family always took comfort from leaving absolute confidence in Dad's level of care and security notwithstanding his Alzheimer's. Our thanks to Cumberland Court for making Dad's final years as comfortable and happy as possible.
Thank you so much for the all support, your family gave us to look after your Dad.
Well organised to a high standard and quality. The staff are excellent and very caring. A nice, happy environment for short-term and long-term care.
My dad is a resident at Cumberland Court Care Home. It was the happiest that I saw him and they really looked after him and always kept me informed about his health.
Hi Karan. It was a great pleasure to look after your lovely dad under our care. Thank you so much for your help.
My mother moved here on the 31st of January 2023. I am very pleased with this care home. The lounge is very comfortable and cosy family environment. My mum's room is good and the hospital bed. The food is all home cooked by a good chef who I look forward to booking a meal with. All the staff and carers are so friendly and welcoming.
My grandmother is well cared for at Cumberland Court. The staff there are friendly, courteous and respectful towards residents. My grandmother has been a resident there for a few months now, and I have never had an issue with her care or well-being. She has settled well and is happy residing there.
I visited Cumberland Court care home last month. I had a warm welcome. The staff were very friendly and caring for the residents. All aspects of the home were excellent. Nutritious food, diligent care, prompt action if there’s a fall or any emergency, flexible visiting time, excellent management and good personal care. I recommend this care home to anyone who needs elderly support.
