Learning that mum had Alzheimer's and then watching her decline to the point of no longer knowing who I was or what was going on has been a distressing and devastating journey. When she could no longer remain at home it was important that we found somewhere that was not only a second home to her but where she was treated with love, dignity and respect and that honoured the individual that she was. In addition to this it was important that we felt seen and heard which is demonstrated with every interaction where I am always asked how I am. They understand that we are not just entering a business transaction where mum is a job to be done but rather a whole family experience where we are placing our trust in them to take care of our mum and I absolutely do trust them to do just that! I know and am reassured that she is being loved and taken care of and have no hesitation in recommending Seaford Head retirement Home to anyone.

My aunt has been living at Seaford Head Retirement Home for six months and is extremely happy and content. The staff are incredibly caring, kind and professional, they are clearly fully engaged in their roles and the overall atmosphere is of a happy, well run home. My aunt always looks nice, she has her hair done regularly and picks out her clothes each day. The laundry is excellent and my aunt's wardrobe always looks very neat. My aunt eats very well and there are lots of drinks and snacks through the day. Activities are fun and interesting and staff make lots of time to chat with residents. Arrangements are all in place for medical appointments and the visiting optician provided my aunt with new glasses when they were needed. The home was recommended to me by a friend and I am so pleased that my aunt moved here. The staff genuinely care for the residents and that shines through every time I visit.

Mum has been treated with care and kindness by all the staff. Very homely friendly atmosphere. I always feel welcome when visiting with my sister and other family members. The home communicate very well, keeping us informed of any health issues and always answer the phone and doorbell in a timely way which is really helpful especially as I take mum out and it's hard for her to stand too long when we return and need to get her back inside.

Dawn and all the staff have really helped to make the difficult decision to place mum in a care facility a smooth and comfortable process mum can't praise everyone highly enough and we feel thankful and reassured that mum is in the right place to meet her needs and those of us as a family and look forward to plenty more visits in 2026.

Staff are always welcoming and able to give an informative analysis of our mother's wellbeing, health and general day to day demeanour. We are informed if she needs anything extra in terms of clothes and toiletries. She is well looked after and appears to have a lovely affectionate relationship with the regular staff members. The management are very aware of her emotional and medical needs they continually review and modify her medication and are always very informative in the reviews we have held with them. We appreciate the care, understanding and support my mother receives every day.

My Sister has been at Seaford Head Care Home for about 18 months. I am very pleased to say she is quite settled there and the care provided by the Staff is first rate, their patience and understanding of her needs is most reassuring. There is a programme of activities and she regularly enjoys short trips out arranged by the home.
Communication between myself and the home/staff is good, keeping me informed of any changes or health issues.

I would certainly recommend Seaford Head Care Home as a good option for anyone looking for somewhere to care for their relative or loved one.

This is a home-from-home in a well-supported environment. The home is clean, warm and easy for someone with special mental and health needs. It is ideal for people with visual impairment as it is easy to negotiate in natural light in shared rooms. The staff are friendly to users and relatives and happy to accommodate both. The home feedback on how things are going and it sounds like they have activities every week to stimulate and interest the residents. I feel very reassured by the home's approach and welcome.

Mum went into Seaford Head Retirement Home about 14 months ago now. The peace of mind my brothers and I have felt ever since is incredible, Mum has dementia and looking after Mum between myself and my brothers had become very difficult indeed.
When Mum went into Seaford Head the change was unbelievable from the outset, Mum is so well cared for by all the staff and so much happier with the stimulation of other people.

I cannot speak highly enough about this home. Myself and my brothers can now be sons again rather than unqualified carers and take Mum out and visit weekly, nothing seems too much trouble for the staff always obliging and so caring to Mum.

My mum was at Seaford Head Retirement Home for over two years, and for Mum, it was like going from home to home. Mum's care was outstanding. She was supported by the staff the whole time she was there. Mum had Parkinson's with Lewy Bodies Disease, and the staff ensured she had all the equipment needed to support her with the disease. The staff were kind and caring. Communication was excellent, and we were always kept informed of how Mum was. I can not thank the staff enough for everything they did for Mum.

Seaford Head has always put my wife's care first. I know she is in safe hands. Being a small home, it is a very personal and dedicated team, who makes her feel like "one of the family". They are resourceful, and any alterations to my wife's health have never phased them. They always keep me informed of how things are and are very welcoming during visits.

We live with my mum and had spent some time looking for somewhere she could stay for a couple of weeks while we had a break. I had not considered Seaford, but a work colleague said they may have a vacancy. Having had a prior experience with a care home which was not the best, I was worried and concerned that my mum would be kept safe and happy. So glad I emailed for info as from the moment we first visited with Mum, I know that she would be well looked after and cared for. The manager and staff were very welcoming and kind, the house was clean and tidy, and most importantly, the other residents seemed very happy and content. I can honestly say that everything about this home got rid of any concerns I had, had. Being experienced with dementia care, Mum fitted in well, and her 'little ways' were not a problem. When we went to pick her up, she was happy, relaxed, chatty and clearly had enjoyed her stay. I would not hesitate in Mum staying long term when she can not live at home anymore.

I visited a few times over her stay here, and each time she was happy, well cared for and seemed to be enjoying the activities with the other residents.
The home was always clean and tidy, and the staff seemed nice and attentive.
Her bedroom was very homely and personal to her, which I know was important.

My overall impression of the home and its care was very good.

I have nothing but praise and thanks to the manager and the staff for looking after my father and welcoming him into their home. Dad was a resident for just under 2-years and was always happy there. He was well cared for and gained weight with the good food offered every day. Sadly my dad has just passed, and the dignity everyone afforded him was wonderful. They have also been a great support to me. I would recommend the home to anyone having to make the difficult decision to place a loved one into care.

I chose Seaford Head Retirement Home for my Mum based on the fact that the staff know their residents really well and are genuinely interested in their lives. Staff are kind and thoughtful; residents are encouraged to be sociable, and it feels more like a family setting than a business. Despite advanced dementia, Mum is content and settled. I was anxious about her going into care, but it’s been easier than I thought.

The staff are very supportive. The home is small, which helps with Mum's illness; it makes it feel cosy and secure. I would definitely recommend it to others. They were exceptional throughout Covid and kept the residents safe and a priority at all times.
