My 95-year-old mother went into Pelham house for respite care after a surgical procedure in hospital. In 3 weeks, she had regained her appetites and her mobility. The staff were all incredibly patient, kind and attentive.

The staff do try and really care for the residents generally. My friend was in hospital during the month and great care was taken of her when she got back to the home. The activities lady is exceptional.

We were made to feel very welcome. Pelham House has a lovely atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff.
My mother has only been there for a couple of weeks buyt says she likes being there and that everyone is very kind, also lots of activities to join in with. The other residents seem happy and content.

Thank you for this lovely review. We love having your mum here with us.

Very satisfied with staff and management. The felicity is very well staffed and clean (no odours). Meals very well presented, impressed by fresh fruits and vegetables and portion sizes.
Staff seemed very caring, compassionate and respectful to all residents. My brother and I reside in Canada and spent a month in Cuckfield soon after our aunt moved in, so she was just starting to feel comfortable in her new surroundings.

We have a packed activities calendar to suit all tastes and abilities. From exercise classes for keeping active to flower arranging, painting, cooking and music sessions designed to keep the creative minds flowing, there’s lots on offer for residents to get involved with and activities are tailored to meet individual needs. We also have our own adapted vehicle, Katalin enjoys arranging trips out to local garden centres and other local attractions. Katalin also holds regular resident meetings to ensure we are listening to what our residents have to say.
