It was a difficult time for all of us as a family when she moved in but the staff were so kind and caring helping us all to adjust to the new situation.
Mum soon settled in and enjoyed the daily routine which kept her active and engaged with life by going to the dining room twice a day for her meals and going to all the various activities that were laid on.
She soon got to know the residents and felt part of the very friendly community.
The staff at Greystones are wonderful.
Mum was very well cared for and they treated her gently and kindly and always with respect. Mum would highly praise them when we visited her and if we had any questions or concerns about Mum the staff were always available to listen to us and give us the support we needed.
Mum felt very safe and secure and was happy at Greystones and I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who is looking for a high quality residential home.
Thank you for taking the time to share your valuable feedback. We have passed your comments on to our friendly staff team. Your mum, along with your family, was very much part of our community and it was a privilege to care for her over the years and to get to know you all.
After a short period of respite care at Greystones, Mum realised that she needed full-time care and decided to stay. As a family we were shown great empathy, care and consideration both now and during this transition. All members of the team I have met show genuine interest and respect towards the residents. The home has an air of calm and peacefulness through a mixture of routines and individual flexibility. I would highly recommend Greystones.
Thank you very much for taking the time to provide Greystones with a review. The information relating to the care home team is very much appreciated and will be fed back to them. It is fantastic to hear that the transition in to Greystones went well!
The staff make Greystones what it is, very caring and as much a home to each resident as they are able to make it. Thank you.

Mum was a resident at Greystones for nearly three years and I am so glad that her last years were spent in such a caring home. All of the staff, including the managers, were kind, friendly and helpful to Mum and also to me. They often willingly went the extra mile to ensure Mum was well looked after. Her practical needs were fully met and staff would frequently take the time to have a chat and giggle with her too. The little touches in the home such as fresh flowers in the communal areas and Birthday and Christmas cards and presents to residents indicated their genuine focus on resident's happiness and well-being. Staff always kept family members informed of any health problems and would frequently arrange doctors visits if needed. I thoroughly recommend Greystones. It is homely and welcoming and not institutionalised like many care homes. A heartfelt thank you to you.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We really appreciate you taking the time out to share your experience with us and thank you for your positive review of Greystones, we will pass your comments on to our staff team.
My father lived at Greystones for just over three years. I was always confident that he was being cared for well. The day to daycare was exceptional, the carers looked after him sensitively and with warmth, always making sure his needs and requests were met. He always looked smart and his clothes were clean and ironed and he was given help to change as often as necessary. The staff and manager communicated well so the manager was fully aware of issues and could decide on a course of action. Outside agencies such as physios were bought in for his benefit. I am happy and grateful that his last years were comfortable and secure.
