I have been in stonleigh care home for respite I have enjoyed myself the managers and staff are so caring the food is excellent I would not hesitate in coming again .the owner works very hard and nothing is too much trouble . Will definitely come again
Wonderful caring staff, they go out of their way to be kind and helpful to the residents. The home is like a home from home, and rooms are cosy and welcoming. It came highly recommended to me and it hasn't disappointed. My mum has settled in and made new friends and has a new purpose in life. My life is so much calmer knowing she is happy and well cared for.
As a family, we had an easy decision to make for my mother-in-law because of the positive experience from the time my parents spent at Stoneleigh. All the staff are extremely friendly and caring and generous with their care and attention. The food is excellent too!
Stone Leigh is a great place. The staff are caring and professional in all aspects of the job. No question or problem is too small and they are always quick to sort out any queries. The house is always clean and tidy to a high standard. You are always greeted with a smile when visiting your loved ones. I highly recommend it as an excellent place to look after and care for your family members.
My mother has been a resident of Stoneleigh since early January 2000. When my family and I were looking for a home for Mum, different people recommended Stoneleigh to us. Our first thought on viewing was that the home smelt pleasant and felt more like a hotel than a care home. Mum initially moved into convalesce but chose to stay. The staff are so helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Stoneleigh has its own cook who is able to accommodate all dietary requirements, which is a lovely bonus. It has been decorated, new carpeting brought in, and fresh floral displays are prevalent in the downstairs areas. There are activities every day of the week, bingo, exercises to music, musicians entertaining the residents, regular trips to the park, weather permitting, etc. All resident's individual birthdays and special dates during the year are celebrated. Stoneleigh is a well-run home from the owner to the manageress to the nurses, care workers, and all staff and we highly recommend it.
There is a cook who serves up an excellent variety of fresh food and her cakes are the best.
Each day brings a variety of entertainment for all to join in from bingo to musical movement. Weather allowing there are walks in the park which is across the road and the seafront is 5minutes down the road. The nurses do take residents for walks and also family can take them out.
My mother is very happy there.
The staff are all friendly and there is a calm, happy atmosphere in the care home.
Our family are very happy with the care offered by Stoneleigh. Very professional and welcoming. We feel we can trust the staff. The bedroom is very comfortable, spacious and bright. My mother-in-law likes the food, the ambience and the staff. Thank you everyone.
I was recommended Stoneleigh for mum by a health professional who had only ever had positive feedback of the care here. Mum has been a resident for over a year now and my brother and I are very happy and reassured by the high standard of care. The staff are a happy team and create a relaxed friendly atmosphere which has been noticeable from day one. I have always experienced them treating the residents with patience and dignity and ensuring wherever possible the residents wishes are met. Cake and chocolate always seem to be available! Communication by the management and carers with me and my brother has been excellent so I always feel informed of any situation. I would recommend Stoneleigh.
Well-run care home. Staff very caring and attentive. Lots of interesting activities for residents who wish to get involved. Food on the whole of a good standard. Rooms kept clean and bedding regularly changed and residents' clothes laundered and returned well. Good situation on the flat close to a lovely park. A very happy well-run care home. Management very approachable and like the staff always quick to help. Visiting hairdresser and chiropodist and medical help sought quickly for any health issues. A very caring, efficiently run establishment where all residents are treated as individuals by well-trained caring staff.
I am happy with all aspects of care at Stoneleigh. I visit Mum regularly and always find her room to be clean and fresh. The food always is varied and of a high standard. The staff are attentive and always available if anything needs doing. I would highly recommend Stoneleigh to anyone for their relative.
Mum is very happy, so it speaks for itself. Highly recommended.
The staff are so friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble, they go above and beyond with their daily duties. The food is also very good.
Good staff and good food, very clean and tidy home-from-home, can’t ask for anything else.
Mum has become a more settled and stress-free person since she has been with yourselves.
Thank you for everything.
I know that many people say care homes are never what they seem but believe me this home is genuine. The owner has recently done some beautiful decorating but still kept a warm and friendly feeling to all areas. Their photo gallery is a real reflection of how they engage with the residents and encourage them to feel special. My mum has now been here since 2017 and I have never felt worried about her safety, care or having to say if I have a concern as they always have time to listen, help try and get things back on track, whether it be medical, social, or just to give them a little tender loving care. So if you are looking for a kind and caring home this is it.
