Little Trefhewa in Praze is the care home for my elderly friend. It is a wonderful place. My friend is very happy there and they provide him with everything he need and more. Nothing is too much trouble for them. His quality of life improved immensly when he came there.

Little Trefhewa in Praze is the care home for my elderly friend. It is a wonderful place. My friend is very happy there and they provide him with everything he need and more. Nothing is too much trouble for them. His quality of life improved immensly when he came there.
The staff are brilliant and engaging, they show a real interest in my friend and he speaks very highly of them. The place is very clean and the food is excellent. His door is open all the time and there is always someone to chat to.

My uncle has lived here for over 5 years and is his "home".
The staff are absolutely brilliant with him and always available to assist with anything that he needs.
I am always kept informed of his welfare and we are full of praise for all the staff.

Mum has been at Little Trefewha for more than 3 years and I have nothing but praise for the staff. They are incredibly attentive in really difficult circumstances and I have nothing but admiration for them. It's a lovely care home that I would whole heartedly recommend.

All the staff are very approachable and if we ever have anything we wish to discuss, the 'door is always open'...
There are always activities for the residents which we encouraged mum to do by attending with her at the start but now she is always happy to attend and enjoy the variety of entertainment offered.

Jackie has a wealth of experience in the care sector, having started care work in 1993 before becoming the registered manager at Little Trefewha Care Home in 1999. She holds a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and is proud to manage a friendly and experienced staff team, many of whom have been at the home for a number of years.
Jackie firmly believes in putting the Residents first and is passionate about promoting a homely and person-centred environment. She has built strong relationships with both the Residents of the home and their loved ones and is highly respected amongst her team for her honesty, integrity and fair style of leadership.

After working in both general and children’s nursing for a number of years, Rachel became the deputy manager of Little Trefewha in 2008 whilst continuing with her nursing role part-time. In 2022, Rachel decided to step away from nursing completely to focus on her role as deputy manager.
