After a difficult start in the dementia care system elsewhere, my father settled in quickly he is now happy, integrated and appreciated by the lovely staff.

We are kept informed and knowing his medical needs are met is very comforting.

My experience at Hilldales has been good and bad with my drink problem. But now I'm clean and sober after a couple of years. I feel really good in myself.

Could not be happier with the staff at this care home.
They look after my dad 24/7 and go above and beyond.
The staff will contact me anytime my dad needs anything.

When he wanted to add a TV channel to his room, they were really accommodating and had no problems with us getting it sorted.

Thank you so much for the review of how well we are doing. It is highly appreciated to hear how well our staff always include yourself in any care requirements or needs that your dad has to make his room more personalised and his own. I will pass on the lovely comments made by you to the team. Thank you again. Kindest regards.

Overall Experience

Hilldale saved my life! I was an alcoholic when I was admitted. Frankly, I have no recollection of getting here but I came from a hospital where I had been for a while. My experience here has been amazing. I have received counselling sessions which have weaned me off the booze. Food is restaurant standard. Staff are caring and cheerful even in the face of provocation from residents. The staff are saints. The room is comfortable and regularly cleaned. Management of the home and residents is spot on. I would recommend this amazing sanctuary to anyone and everyone.
