The home offers 14 comfortable bedrooms across two floors, with the majority featuring en-suite facilities. All first-floor rooms are accessible by a platform lift, while selected rooms have balconies overlooking the award-winning garden and several ground-floor rooms offer direct garden access. Comfortable communal spaces, a large sun lounge with patio doors and a charming dining room create a relaxed home-from-home atmosphere. Residents may also choose to enjoy meals privately in their rooms.
Ridgeway provides nutritious, varied and well-balanced home-cooked meals, with special diets catered for. Every bedroom has a nurse call system, and an assisted bathing facility is available. Visitor parking is provided for family and friends.
Residents can take part in a varied programme of activities designed around their interests, including armchair ballet, karaoke, seasonal events, live musicians and on-site entertainment. A foot spa provides an opportunity for additional relaxation and pampering. Regular visits from a hairdresser, chiropodist and physiotherapist are also arranged, with access to GPs, district nurses, opticians, dentists, chaplaincy and pastoral care.
