My sister, brother and I were particularly grateful and impressed by the outstanding end of life care all staff gave my mother. The way she was treated with love, care and dignity was overwhelming. We will be forever grateful she was able to die peacefully in her own bed with me by her side .

I cannot speak highly enough of their lovely care home. From the minute you enter the warmth, friendliness of the staff is in evidence. Mum came for a short stay after being in hospital for a few weeks and is now hoping to stay here permanently. The care provided is first class and mum loves the food and activities that are offered. The Rise turned a potentially difficult time in mum's life to a very positive one. Mum is very happy and says that she feels safe. As a family the peace of mind this has given us is invaluable. My mum has been a resident at The Rise for 12 months. The Staff are caring and understanding of her medical needs, they are always on hand and happy to support any additional requests from mum. The local GP visits regularly.
My mum has additional dietary needs and the hospitality team encourage mum to eat well, often tweaking the meals to suit her needs.
The building and grounds are beautifully maintained. The Festive season is well under way with Christmas activities and entertainment for all. The Christmas decorations are amazing.
I am very happy that mum's new home is at the Rise and all the support she gets from the Staff.
Christmas is one of our favorite times of the year. The house comes alive with Christmas festivities for all to enjoy.
Relatives are welcome to attend twice yearly social events, which are always enjoyed by all. The grounds and interiors and maintained beautifully. My mother is very happy there.

From the minute you walk into The Rise with lovely decor it feels warm and friendly. My Godmother has been a resident for over 2 years .she is well looked after. The choice of meals are amazing. The staff so friendly. The care given is one hundred percent. I myself have worked in homes. Would definitely recommend The Rise for short stays and even like my godmother she is there permanently. There are a number of activities which I think are important they have singers come into the home. They arrange coffee mornings. Residents have something going on every day. Well done from Management to all staff. For making my Godmother stay so pleasant.

My dad moved into The Rise in October 22. My brother and sister are like me so pleased we chose The Rise. The staff are fantastic and the quality of care very high. The Rise is an absolutely fabulous facility. The staff are so kind and compassionate and clearly so fond of and lovely with my mum who has dementia. There are loads of activities to keep her entertained and the food is great: in a grand dining hall with menus so they feel like they're at a nice restaurant. The gardens are stunning. The whole place feels like a lovely country hotel. It's amazing. All my fears about what "putting my mum in a home" would be like have been allayed. I couldn't be happier that I chose the Rise.
