Our Mum was discharged to the Vicarage for recovery and assessment following a 3 week stay in hospital, where she had been seriously unwell. On admission to the Vicarage, she was very weak, frail, anxious and low in mood. Over the duration of her stay (approximately 9 weeks), the staff worked...
The staff encouraged Mum to become confident and mobile again, which has worked wonders. The staff really do care about their residents and the Home does have a 'family' feel to it, based on our experiences. I would recommend the Vicarage to anyone.

Currently, corridors and hallways are being decorated. Laundry is kept up to date. Residents are included in decision making on decor, garden space and activities. Look past the building itself. The home is amazing. Nothing is too much trouble.
