Mum was in the Vicarage for a short time before passing away my family and I will always be grateful for the wonderful care Mum was given she enjoyed her last Xmas with you all we were always made to feel welcome by three members of staff in particular and the wonderful staff carries on your excellent work much love and thanks to you all.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. I am so pleased the staff at our home were able to make your mum's last days the best they could be. I will be sure to pass your kind words on to all the staff who work so hard each and every day.
Mum was in the care of the Vicarage for the last 2 years of her life. She was treated with the utmost respect and made a lot of good friends with the staff, as did I. I will be forever grateful for the care that they showed her.
Thank you so much for your kind review. It was a pleasure to look after your mother and it is lovely to know that you were happy with the care that she received. I will pass your kind words on to our extremely hard-working and caring staff.
Overall a very nice care home and we are glad my relative went there.
Thank you very much indeed for your lovely review. It was a pleasure looking after your mother-in-law and I will pass your kind words on to our staff who will certainly appreciate them.
My mother-in-law was in Vicarage Residential Home for more than four years. She was treated with so much care and dignity. When she passed away she was never left to be all alone.
Thank you very much for your kind review. Management and staff at the home take great pride in their work and we always strive to give our best to those we care for.
The staff encouraged Mum to become confident and mobile again, which has worked wonders. The staff really do care about their residents and the Home does have a 'family' feel to it, based on our experiences. I would recommend the Vicarage to anyone.
Thank you for your lovely review and I am delighted you found the home and staff so helpful. It was a pleasure to look after your mum.
Can't thank the staff enough at this place. My husband was cared for here for four months and was very happy here also. The staff not only treated him with the utmost respect but also were a shoulder of support to me and my family. All staff members worked well as a team and nothing was too much trouble. Very friendly place to visit and we always felt welcome and upon meeting other residents, they all looked happy and content around the staff and the home.
My Nan stayed at the vicarage for 8 weeks and I can not thank all the staff enough for all the support they gave to my Nan and my family, they all go above and beyond to make sure my Nan had everything she needed and to make my Nan super comfortable while staying at The Vicarage really made it feel like home from home! Would highly recommend The Vicarage.
I visited my wife each day at this home and was made to feel very welcome. I found every member of the staff were absolutely fantastic, so kind and caring. I have and will highly recommend them all.
The heart and soul of this home are the staff, from cleaners to management. I was here for 10 days and arrived in a very poor condition but thanks to their loving care, I recovered. I was made to laugh (always a good medicine) hugged when I was low and treated like I was somebody special. Nothing was too much trouble for them! My love and thanks to all of them.
Thank you very much for your kind and lovely review. Our staff work so hard to make the home a happy and caring place and it is wonderful when this is so warmly appreciated. I am delighted you are feeling so much better after your stay with us.
One of the aims of this home is to provide a loving, caring family atmosphere and it is soon obvious that this is achieved. The managers are hands-on with an open door policy. Any issues are dealt with promptly. The food is home-cooked with good variety and there are regular themed meals when the dining room is decorated accordingly. The home is clean and tidy. Currently, corridors and hallways are being decorated. Laundry is kept up to date. Residents are included in decision making on decor, garden space and activities. Look past the building itself. The home is amazing. Nothing is too much trouble.
I cannot complement the staff at Vicarage enough. My father suffered from Alzheimer's disease. The wonderful staff treated him with such care and kindness as if he was a member of their own family. The building is in the process of being modernised, however, the care and genuine kindness shown by every single member of staff, was absolutely outstanding.
The staff go out of their way to make sure that my Mum's care is personal to her and her needs. They work really hard and support us as much as possible. The home has a lovely feeling when you visit. The managers are often seen walking around the home. They are there for you if you have any concerns. The home is clean and they take care of Mum's clothes, a lovely home.
Although not dissatisfied with previous management, am very pleased with new.
Lovely idea to have weekly programmes printed for our information and easy viewing.
My father has been in the home now for 2 years and my sister and I are very pleased with his care. The new management team has made a great difference.
Nice atmosphere and a completely different energy abound. Would highly recommend this home.
