As of Janyary 2026, I am thrilled with the care given to my mum at Belmont House. The refurbishment of several areas has made a huge difference to all and is much improved.
The overall diffrerence in atmosphere makes visiting a much betrer experience and the genuine response to listening to any ideas
or concerns is reassuring.
I would recomend Belmont House to those looking into Care Homes and am very happy to write this eeview.
Reply from Stephanie Ussi, Provider at Belmont HouseDear Mel, Thank you for your kind words. I am pleased you're as happy as we are with the refurbishments. Mum is a pleasure to care for. I will pass this onto the team.

Just spent a lovely afternoon at Belmont House with my Father in law, Management and Staff. Stephanie and Gino, the new owners, kindly organised a Garden Party to welcome and meet the residents family and friends. So much effort and time went into creating a fun and very enjoyable time for everyone.
Thank you Stephanie and Gino for all the positive changes you are making to Belmont House and thank you from James and myself to all the care staff for their quality and caring support. Food was amazing too !
Reply from Stephanie Ussi, Provider at Belmont HouseDear Tanya. Thank you for the lovely review and for taking the time to join us for the afternoon. Your words mean so much to our team as they work hard to provide the best possible care for our residents at Belmont.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
I cannot praise Belmont House highly enough. My dad has dementia. Moving him to residential care was challenging. The staff at Belmont have been amazing. From the moment I first visited, I was confident that dad would be well cared for. Dad has a tendency to fall. Staff have worked with him to minimise
this risk (using sensors, etc), whilst promoting his enthusiasm for dancing and entertaining everyone. Communication with us has been proactive and sensitive. Our input is welcomed. Each staff member I have spoken to has a good understanding of dad's likes and dislikes. It feels like a family of carers, not a team of staff; a home with a small 'h'. The atmosphere is professional whilst balancing authentic interest in individuals, with real care that they are content and safe. Dad's life is enriched living at Belmont. He sings, eats great food, sees friends - all facilitated by truly amazing people. It is beyond reassuring that dad is in such a well-led, safe, caring and empowering home.
Reply from Stephanie Ussi, Provider at Belmont HouseDear Charlotte. Thank you for your kind words. It means so much to our team to know that you feel this way. We very much enjoy the enthusiasm your father has for singing and dancing. He is a joy!

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Ken has a lovely room which has been thoughtfully arranged by the owner and staff, who are an amazing team. The new owner is working very hard to update everything, especially the beautifully newly landscaped garden. The atmosphere of Belmont house is really super and the residents are clearly very
happy there. The manager and staff are extremely professional and even take care of the visitors, and make me feel reassured that my husband is being very well looked after.
Reply from Stephanie Ussi, Provider at Belmont HouseThank you so much Carole. What a beautiful review. It is rewarding to read such lovely words from you and we as a team enjoy supporting K so much. Your kind words are so much appreciated. Thank you also for your comment on the garden. We are so happy with the finished result.

The care home has the full support and confidence of the family, especially with the changes and distress in dealing with such an health aenigma. My wife's comfort and fondness of the staff leads us to a brilliant relationship. During the period of transfer of ownership, my family were quite concerned
that the care could change, however I am extremely pleased to report, that the care we expected remained the same, and we are delighted with the new images and all the personal touches.
My family and I wish them well for the future.

Current Review Score: 9.5 (9.511)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.5 (9.511) out of 10 for Belmont House is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.7 out of 5 from 11 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.8 out of 5 from 11 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.736 for Belmont House is calculated as follows: ( (95 Excellents x 5) + (34 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 129 Ratings = 4.736
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.775 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Belmont House is based on 11 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 = 3.775
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 24 registered maximum number of service users is 4.8, which has been reached with 11 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
