Placing dad into a care home was a very hard decision but one that had to be made. I was quite nervous about the process but Donna came to meet me and Dad at the house and instantly calmed any nerves. She was very professional but also really lovely with dad. The process of settling him in couldn't have gone any better, with Donna ensuring that everything went smoothly and Sharon who couldn't have been more welcoming with Dad.
It took a little while but all the staff ensured he settled in and he is the happiest he been in a long time.

Thank you to all at Bafford house for making this process as smooth as possible.

My mother stayed at Bafford House for temporary care April through May 2026. While visiting I spent some time talking to the staff and found them all very engaging and enthusiastic about their work. Great individuals in an efficient team who provided a safe and happy environment for the residents.

You have my respect and admiration for the work you do.

The staff is attentive and kind. They are patient and very willing to answer questions, and want to learn more about the people in their care.

The facilities are bright and clean. Patient safety is a primary concern. Bafford House is very well run and maintained. e

Overall Experience

My Mum in law was a resident at Bafford for 3 years before she passed away in March 2026. The care she received was wonderful. She was very fond of the carers and they honestly treated her like family. They always made us feel welcome and the 3 nights I stayed there before Mum passed I was made to feel at home. Nothing was ever too much trouble and Mum was always beautifully clean. The team honestly made her last 3 years so happy. It was so comforting to know that she was safe and well looked after. The gardens are beautiful and Mum loved to sit out in the summer. Mums room was cosy and well taken care of. All of the staff make the effort to get to know the families by name and there's a real family atmosphere. We can honestly never thank them enough for everything they have done for Mum and I will continue to pop in even though Mum is no longer with us.

Overall Experience

My wife started a 4-week respite stay last week. From the time of my first visit, much to my delight, my wife appeared absolutely at home, happy, totally relaxed, with a good appetite and all reports regarding sleep and taking medication couldn't be better. My thanks to the owner, manager and all staff for the care and attention, and especially for putting my mind at rest at a very difficult time.
