Regency Retirement Home is situated at the bottom of Regents Street in Stonehouse.

It is a cosy residence with accommodation for up to 14 residents to include two double rooms. There is an accessible main bathroom and a lift to enable access to all to the first floor. The charming gardens complete with a very active greenhouse and a social patio area offers a perfect venue for live events during the summer or serves as a pleasant outdoor space for friends and relatives.

The dedicated team comprises of 15 long standing staff members all very local bringing a wealth of expertise, personality, knowledge, patience and genuine care. At Regency Retirement Home the team are committed to delivering person-centred care, tailoring their approach to meet desires and care needs. They take pride in being a tightly knit and deeply compassionate team that work in harmony.

I can not speak highly enough of the team at Regency. From the management down through the staff, the home is run as a family home and it shows. The care they take is reflected in every aspect of the home and nothing seems too much trouble.

My mother was unable to care for herself and after Covid, Regency House became her new home. Personal and attentive care with a friendly and extended family feel. In a calm and pretty location.
Becoming our parents parents is always a tough transition and the experienced team helped at every step.

I cannot recommend Regency Retirement Home highly enough. Mum has made it her home since April last year. The staff are always polite, friendly and accommodating towards Mum who feels very much at home now in her lovely room with views out to the garden. The staff respect Mum's individual needs whilst
letting her remain as independent as possible. Mum has enjoyed participating in the many activities and outings organised by Regency staff - there is always something for her to look forward to. My sister and I now have the peace of mind that Mum is being cared for in a homely, relaxed environment where she can enjoy home-cooked meals daily and have any needs met with dignity and care.

Simply the jewel in the crown. It's near impossible to find a small, cosy, care home with such a loyal staff team. Everyone looks after Mum with the upmost kindness and respect. Mum always comments on the lovely food, activities and the amazing staff team. I cannot thank you enough for the difference
you have made to us all knowing Mum is safe in your care.

During my five-week stay I was treated with so much care and friendliness I really didn't want to leave. There was encouragement all the way through and my every wish was granted. All the residents were treated the same, with patience and time.
The food was fresh and home-cooked, with choices and
alternatives.
I cannot think of a good enough way to praise all the staff, without exception. They loved their work and all the residents, and the residents loved them.

Management and staff go above and beyond for all the service users and their relatives.

The Regency is a first-class home run by excellent owners and staff. Following the passing of my mother and her cousin in 2020, my mother's best friend spent her last days in the Regency in May 2024. The staff are extremely caring and treat everyone as a member of their family. The food is home cooked
and diets catered for to a very high standard. I am still a regular visitor and am always welcome and I am able to interact with the current residents on many of the events held there. There are always things going on and trips to enjoy, the last memory of our friend's final days was of her singing on the local canal boat enjoying the company of both the staff and residents alike. It is a very special place and I can thoroughly recommend it.

My Aunt moved into Regency retirement home on the 1st of April at the grand old age of 96, she was no stranger to the home as had visited her sister and good friend on a daily basis for many years before their passing. My aunt was fiercely independent and always said if she ever needed to go into a
home Regency was the only one she would want to go to. After a few falls at home, she decided it was time to move into Regency and was so relieved that a room was available, she was lovingly welcomed by all the wonderful staff, two members of staff in particular have a fabulous team working for them, many of whom have been there for many years. My aunt felt very safe and well cared for, one of the last photos we have of my aunt is of her enjoying a lovely trip on a canal boat with all the other residents and staff singing all the old-time songs, she passed away peacefully in her chair surrounded by some of her favourite staff a few days later. As a family, we are so thankful for the love & care shown to her.

The Regency residential home was like Home from Home. My mum had a wonderful few years there. The management and staff were amazing, they were always there for my mum with all the complex needs and a great support to our family, especially when Mum passed away. They have wonderful gardens that the residents
can sit and enjoy, great staff, great food, and just a wonderful place to stay. I would definitely recommend it.

My friend was a resident of RRH, I visited her a lot. I was always greeted with a smile and made to feel most welcome by all staff and other residents. The home is clean, bright, welcoming, decorated tastefully and comfortable. My friend was happy there.
Staff treated her with love care respect and
dignity until she sadly passed away. I see that this is done with each resident. I would happily have any of my family members live at RRH. I can't recommend it enough.
Residents go out on trips, have singers in to entertain them, live zoo animals, do flower arranging, and so many activities to keep them entertained, engaged, and happy.
