Mum really enjoyed her time at Regency, she lived there for around 10 years before she passed away. We have not once been unhappy with any aspect of the care provided. Regency is real home, the staff are caring and supportive treating residents and relatives as family.

Mum loved the home made food and the trips out, which could be anything from coffee at the garden centre, ice creams on the common or a pub lunch. She also enjoyed all the activities. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Regency Retirement Home.

Regency is an amazing care home. The staff look after the residents brilliantly. They show such care and love for all the residents. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who go the extra mile every day to give the best care.
The house is so homely. Food delicious. Activities are frequent and very much enjoyed, especially all the music activities.
I could not wish for a better home for my mother.

My mother is always treated with care and dignity.

I have been very pleased with the way my mum has settled, she is well cared for and very comfortable and happy. She always says how friendly and kind the staff are. I have witnessed good socialisation and entertainment for mum. The food always appears fresh and staff happy to adjust menu choices to preferred likes. Good communication and transparency from staff to family is excellent. Mums health and well being is very well maintained. Any concerns are always addressed . Mums room, bathroom and laundry is regularly cleaned. Overall Mum and all her family and friends that have visited are very impressed with the home, care and staff support. It is very comforting knowing Mum is safe well and happy.

My mums been in the regency retirement home since April 2025. Mum has found it difficult to adjust to her need to move into a retirement home, however, the staff have been very patient, kind, welcoming, and lovely towards her.

We appreciate how the home always includes and encourages mum to join in with the many activities and entertainment they provide for the residents, and we've noticed a big change in mum, enjoying the events and settling in more over time.

We've even seen mum enjoying home-cooked meals that she'd never have tried before!

The gardens are a great addition during the summer months, so mum is able to sit outside in the sunshine.

We feel that the regency retirement home is meeting all of mums needs, while helping her to settle, and that she is looked after and cared for with dignity.

I highly recommend regency retirement home.

I cannot recommend Regency Retirement Home highly enough. Mum has made it her home since April last year. The staff are always polite, friendly and accommodating towards Mum who feels very much at home now in her lovely room with views out to the garden. The staff respect Mum's individual needs whilst letting her remain as independent as possible. Mum has enjoyed participating in the many activities and outings organised by Regency staff - there is always something for her to look forward to. My sister and I now have the peace of mind that Mum is being cared for in a homely, relaxed environment where she can enjoy home-cooked meals daily and have any needs met with dignity and care.

During my five-week stay I was treated with so much care and friendliness I really didn't want to leave. There was encouragement all the way through and my every wish was granted. All the residents were treated the same, with patience and time.
The food was fresh and home-cooked, with choices and alternatives.

I cannot think of a good enough way to praise all the staff, without exception. They loved their work and all the residents, and the residents loved them.

My Aunt moved into Regency retirement home on the 1st of April at the grand old age of 96, she was no stranger to the home as had visited her sister and good friend on a daily basis for many years before their passing. My aunt was fiercely independent and always said if she ever needed to go into a home Regency was the only one she would want to go to. After a few falls at home, she decided it was time to move into Regency and was so relieved that a room was available, she was lovingly welcomed by all the wonderful staff, two members of staff in particular have a fabulous team working for them, many of whom have been there for many years. My aunt felt very safe and well cared for, one of the last photos we have of my aunt is of her enjoying a lovely trip on a canal boat with all the other residents and staff singing all the old-time songs, she passed away peacefully in her chair surrounded by some of her favourite staff a few days later. As a family, we are so thankful for the love & care shown to her.

The Regency is a first-class home run by excellent owners and staff. Following the passing of my mother and her cousin in 2020, my mother's best friend spent her last days in the Regency in May 2024. The staff are extremely caring and treat everyone as a member of their family. The food is home cooked and diets catered for to a very high standard. I am still a regular visitor and am always welcome and I am able to interact with the current residents on many of the events held there. There are always things going on and trips to enjoy, the last memory of our friend's final days was of her singing on the local canal boat enjoying the company of both the staff and residents alike. It is a very special place and I can thoroughly recommend it.

My friend was a resident of RRH, I visited her a lot. I was always greeted with a smile and made to feel most welcome by all staff and other residents. The home is clean, bright, welcoming, decorated tastefully and comfortable. My friend was happy there.
Staff treated her with love care respect and dignity until she sadly passed away. I see that this is done with each resident. I would happily have any of my family members live at RRH. I can't recommend it enough.

Residents go out on trips, have singers in to entertain them, live zoo animals, do flower arranging, and so many activities to keep them entertained, engaged, and happy.
