Unfortunately, Dad was only able to spend a few days at Stratton House before he passed away, but one particular lady and her team did everything they could to get him out of the hospital and back to Burnham where he was born, raised and spent the majority of his 88-years so that we could be with him
for those few precious minutes before he passed, despite the current Covid requirements. The care and compassion they showed Dad and our family during his few days were outstanding, and they even went as far as arranging for a bouquet of flowers on his grave after the funeral. Thank you, to one particular lady and your excellent team, for making such a heart-breaking event a little more bearable.

My mum was a resident here until she recently passed away.
All the staff were amazing with mum, she was treated as if she were family. I can honestly say she felt loved by all the staff at Stratton House

I would strongly recommend this care home. My father was taken here for end of life care, although he only stayed for a very short time, the care he received was excellent. The staff were always friendly towards him and very caring. On the occasions we visited my father, they were very friendly towards
us also asking if we would like a drink or cup of tea etc. The facility was very clean and warm. At all times my father was treated with great dignity and his final passing was very peaceful. Thank you for your excellent care.

Stratton House is a real home full of love and caring. My mother spent two happy years at Stratton House where despite her illness, she blossomed, taking up knitting and drawing again which she had not done for years. She had many outings and evenings of entertainment. Their end of life care was wonderful
and they were very supportive to me at this difficult time.

I would recommend them most highly for nursing care.

My mother was a resident at Stratton House from November 2015 to February 2017. She was welcomed from the start and the staff were very caring and kind and made her feel at home. During her time there I was impressed with the "family feel". The staff, care, activities and good.
I cannot speak highly
enough of the team or staff. As a doctor, I was impressed with the medical aspect of the care as well as the nursing and pastoral. My mum's end of life care was kind, warm and attentive. Thank you, to all of Stratton House staff.

I cannot describe how well and with so much care the staff looked after mum. When she left hospital she was dressed and downstairs with make up on and glad of the stimulation. The house is old but staff are everywhere checking on residents offering food and drink all day. When I asked for mum to go
to bed she was taken to her room immediately. As she progressed we were able to discuss her leaving and going back to her home around the corner. All the staff were pleased and eager to do this. Exemplary.
