Mum has lived at Offmore Farm now for over 2 years. It is clean, homely, and in lovely surroundings.
The staff are kind and caring. They know Mum (her likes and dislikes) and understand her care needs. Any health concerns are followed up and regular updates are given.
Mum enjoys all the organised
activities (e.g. painting, cooking, exercises, gardening), and the celebratory events. Visitors include the local church volunteers and they have regular entertainers. The home posts regular updates on Facebook, so you can see what has been happening in between visits. This is especially useful when a loved one has dementia.
Overall, we are very happy with Mum's care and are very grateful to all of the staff for all that they do.

My mom has been a resident at Offmore for 3 years. Unfortunately she was suffering initial problems, I can only say the staff at Offmore have been extremely attentive to her needs at that point and working as a team she has overcome her difficulties and the staff continue to support her well, which
is greatly appreciated.
The home is clean and nicely decorated, with superb home cooked food, and is a 'homely' place to be which is what attracted us to Offmore in the first place. All the staff work extremely hard, and are very welcoming when we visit.
I would thoroughly recommend this as a home for a loved one, knowing they would be well cared for in a clean, safe and comfortable environment. Our thanks to all the staff at Offmore for all they do, we couldn't wish for a better place for mom to be!

Our dear mother has been a resident at Offmore Farm Residential Home since July 2024.
The manager and her excellent team have made every effort to get to know and understand her from day one.
Despite her advancing vascular dementia, she is clearly being so well cared for and this is such a comfort
to my sister and I who do not live nearby.
We would like to thank the manager and her team for the genuine and personalised care she is receiving and we appreciate this so much.
We highly recommend the home .

Absolutely amazing place, they all deserve medals for the wonderful work they do, cooks, cleaners carers, admin, even the odd job man, always busy with smiles on there faces, I can honestly say my mum could not be in better hands, a big thank you from me and my family for the excellent care you have

My Mother has been a resident for the past three and half years. It was not an easy decision to move her into care but the transition was made easier by the team who always appeared very caring and patient and also developed individual and very personal relationships with Mum. Constancy of staff meant
that, at the end, many had known Mum for all the time she had been there, knew exactly her likes, dislikes and trigger points, and had become her friends. We shared with staff some lovely stories at her bedside in her final days, in an excellent downstairs room which they moved her into to allow family to visit at any time.
The facilities are good but it is the staff who really make the home a real home to residents - We would recommend the home to any family who value individual and personalised care, especially to those who are suffering from dementia. Thank you!

My mom has been a resident at Offmore Farm for nearly three years now. After losing my dad I must have looked at over 20 homes in my area when we had to make the heartbreaking decision to move her to a care environment after caring for her ourselves for many years because of her dementia. I was despondent
with choices until a friend recommend Offmore Farm as they had previously cared for her mom and she was so happy with her care.
As soon as I walked in I felt a difference... a warmth and sense of 'home' that I had never felt before and within ten minutes I knew that this was the place that I was confident in to love and care for my mom.
I have never regretted my decision to move my mom here. During Covid and its lockdowns, I had zero stress as I just knew that Mom was in a fantastic environment full of wonderful carers and management, which gave me immense comfort...That in itself speaks volumes!
I feel that everyone at Offmore is part of our extended family and I love them all.100%, fantastic!

Throughout our journey with our Mom’s Dementia, a great comfort to us and our family has been the reassurance that she is safe, healthy and well-looked after at Offmore Farm Residential Home.
The staff are just incredible; she is content, happy and is now thriving with her needs being met in a fabulous
environment which caters to all their residents’ needs.
The staff at Offmore are equally amazing in ensuring families stay connected to their loved ones - it is a ‘home away from home’ feeling whenever we visit.
After being carers for our Mom for so many years, we can finally enjoy her again.
Laughter, warmth and love fills every room at Offmore; we as a family are truly blessed.
