My aunt has been a resident at the home for nearly six months now. I have seen a big improvement since the new manager was appointed. The staff do work extremely hard and are always friendly and welcoming. I do think the residents need more activities and stimulation. It's a long day to be just sitting
in a chair. The manager is however addressing this.

Staff were warm, welcoming, friendly to myself, supportive and very attentive to my mother who is a resident. One care assistant, in particular, is lovely.
My mother was well-kempt and clean, she appeared content.
The home environment is welcoming, clean and homely.
The manager and owner were helpful
with their advice. Mom has moved to Wythall Residential Home which is a home-from-home in Bromsgrove.
Wythall is fare superior in care provided.

Mum has been a resident of Wythall Residential Home since October 2022. She appears to be finally settled there following weeks of her being agitated. The care has been exemplary and has helped her settle.
The staff are friendly, approachable and any concerns have been resolved.

My dad has been a resident here for six-seven years. From the first moment of looking, we didn't want him to go anywhere else and he loved it too. Like a home from home, small enough for each resident to be treated as an individual, whether that be for food, entertainment, care or anything else. Also
animal friendly, a real bonus. WHen we visit with out dog, he (the dog) visits all the residents and they all have a smile on their faces. Dad is very happy there, they (the staff) all understand him.

My mother moved into Wythall Residential Home in December 2021. The home has a friendly environment and all the facilities that you come to expect from a care home. All my mother's needs and support are catered for throughout the day and night by an excellent team of carers who are led by an equally
excellent manager. Meals are of a high standard. There are daily activities which keep my mother and other residents interested. There is an outside garden and seating areas which can be used on warm and sunny days.

Mum moved into Wythall Residential Home in September 2020. The home is welcoming, warm, clean and safe with all food, drinks, snacks that Mum wants provided. MUms room is always clean and tidy. The most important thing to me that the team that work at the home. They are welcoming, loving, kind and caring.
Mum is treated with patience, dignity and compassion. The team involve her in activities such as knitting and crafts. The team ensure Mum is always neat, clean and tidy and often paint her nails. Mum's hair is done by a visiting hairdresser. The team get the balance right, between fostering Mum's independence and helping her when needed. Mum has settled well and is happy. I am so thankful that Mum is so well looked after.

My mum has been in the home for 6 months and in that time has been extremely well cared for, both day and night, by the friendly and caring staff. The home is very clean and Mum has a choice of home-cooked food at mealtimes. She is well stimulated and enjoys the various activities provided such as exercise,
singing and crafts. Services including a hairdresser are also provided on request. The staff are also extremely good at informing families about any issues that may arise and, all in all, it is very reassuring to see Mum relaxed, happy and well cared for.

After making a very difficult decision to move my mother into residential care, I must say that my fears were completely cleared by the entire staff of Whythall Residential Home. My mother has been looked after to the highest standard and her general health has improved due to this. It is homely, the
atmosphere is happy and all the residents are very settled.

Since my partner has been at Wythall care home, my partners diagnosed condition of Alzheimers has been very well managed by the manager and senior care staff. Together with the local GP, we have all concluded that 'Anti-Psychotic Drugs' been used on my partner were detrimental to her health, well-being,
posture, mobility, sleeping, ability to eat and drink and speech/communication so they have stopped. The transformation and improvement have been unbelievable. The staff are very aware of signs and behaviour changes and reasons such as U.T.I's. Extremely vigilant and caring towards residents and always looking to improve.

I came to the home at Christmas as I'm an old family friend, I do not go often as I live in Wales. The home was festive and the residents seem happy, the staff were having a sing along with residents, one carer was dancing with a female resident which was lovely to see also the new manager introduced
himself to me and he was a breath of fresh air and very knowledgeable. My relative is very fond of him. The home was very clean and it had new furniture and looked wonderful, well done lovely home !
