Mum moved into Brooke House from hospital for a trail period following a series of falls and a period of illness.

Without exception, mum has been treated with care and compassion and her individual needs carefully considered and met. The staff and management team have been exceptional in helping mum settle in and in supporting the wider family. The peace of mind that comes with finding a good care home cannot be underestimated. Thank you.

Our mother moved to Brook House in early 2024, when it was no longer possible for her to live independently. Moving to Brook House was such a positive move; she enjoyed having so much more company. There have been activities she could join in with, and she has been able to maintain her own routines (she always liked to go to bed late and have a lie-in in the mornings). The food was a real bonus, freshly cooked on the premises, and her personal preferences were accommodated.
As relatives, it has been reassuring to know Mum is safe, well cared for, and happy. I was concerned it might be difficult to visit, but that's not the case. We have felt welcome to visit Mum at any time, and for as long as we like. We always felt welcome. When Mum found it hard to get out and about, the staff organised a room the family could gather in, so Mum was still part of larger family events.

We would not hesitate to recommend this home; the manager and all the staff are professional and caring.

My friend says she likes living here. The staff are kind and nice to her. The meals she says are good and the food is plenty for her appetite. Her room is clean and the furnishings and carpets are of good quality. She says she is well looked after.

Brooke House is a well-run, clean and tidy home that serves good homemade food. It is set in beautiful surroundings and my aunt enjoys a walk and sit outside in the summertime. My aunt has been quite poorly lately and suffers with dementia, all the staff and management have been fantastic to her and spend a lot of time talking and sitting with her. My aunt has settled well at Brooke House and genuinely likes living there.

My mother has been a resident for fifteen months now and her health and well-being has improved during her stay. She enjoys the food and all the staff really seem to care. The home is always clean and the grounds are immaculate.

The administrative staff are always helpful and easy to deal with.

It's 24-hour care. I have a nice en-suite room and good communal facilities. There are a lot of activities and tribute acts. There is usually something on each day. Staff and residents are very friendly. Food is excellent and the choice is good. The setting is superb with plenty of external seating.

I have everything I need and I'd recommend to others.

My mum was only in the home 5 weeks but the love and care all the staff gave her was incredible not only did they care for her but the support the gave me was wonderful. Unfortunately, my mum passed away very peacefully in her sleep. I cannot express what a wonderful place Brook House is thank you to everyone for the care you gave our family.

Mum had to go into a care home for respite, in January 2021 following an operation. It was to be for a few weeks until she was back on her feet. Within a few weeks she decided that she was perfectly happy in Brook House and would like to stay!
Mum is enjoying her time there.
We were very pleased that she felt so well looked after and made to feel very comfortable, that she decided to stay.

The staff have been very supportive to Mum and our family during these difficult times.
