They encourage her to push herself but are not demanding, so work with her. Communication is first class and we are always made aware of any changes that occur. We, the family, were welcome at any time to visit for as long as we wanted to. The smallness of the home gave it a lovely, homely feel, and we were very grateful for the kindness shown to Mum.

It has been 16 months since we have visited Onny Cottage. We were delighted to find the same level of care and support for my mother-in-law. We chose Onny Cottage because it was small, friendly and cosy. Since last March, the home has been de-cluttered and refreshed this has given it a lighter fresher feel. Thoughtful changes like new carpet in the hall and more support for physical care are evident. Ultimately, its the staff, their kindness, their interest in my mother-in-law is what warms the heart. There should be more Onny Cottages it's a brilliant model.

During her last few weeks when she was bed bound and frail and the staff were wonderful at looking after her every need making sure she never had a bed sore. I felt very supported during the last few days and they were happy for me to spend the night with Mum.
