This was our first experience using respite care for mom. The staff helped to make the difficult time as smooth and manageable as possible. The friendliness of staff was absolutely amazing. The effort the staff gave to celebrate Mother's Day was impeccable real treasured memories.
I would not hesitate to call if needed in the future.

Thank you

Without doubt we couldn't have found a better care home for my mum. Essington Manor was recommended to me by a friend and I have no qualms in recommending it either.
First impression when I walked in was how nice the house smelled, then how lovely the linen was laundered.
My mum was made to feel at home immediately and settled in quickly with the help of the experienced caring, supportive, loving staff. Visitors are made to feel very welcome with cups of tea/ coffee and catchups on hand.
Unfortunately my mum passed recently but her end of life care was exemplary.

As a family we feel very grateful for all the hard work and dedication that was on hand constantly.

Staff at Essington Manor are fantastic! Always very friendly and welcoming when we visited. Lots of activities for residents to take part in. When our sister in law was more mobile they took her out to different places. Every event is remembered with decorations, bunting, pictures etc. It is a lovely homely place and staff are always ready to talk to you and keep you informed about things. We were very worried about whether she would settle but she did. She had lots of encouragement to keep active until unfortunately she became too frail and became confined to her room. I would definitely recommend Essington Manor. Thanks to all the staff for the amazing work you do!

The reason for choosing Essington Manor for my Mother was not just its location but I felt it was homely and had warmth and friendliness. After seeing many establishments this is what I personally was looking for. From day one the staff have been friendly and knowledgeable and are the same on every visit I make.

Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Dad seems happy enough and eats well. He also seems to get involved in many different activities, whether this be chores within the home or fun activities such as bingo, crafting, dancing etc. The key events are celebrated throughout the year with decorations displayed , bringing a more homely feel.

I cannot recommend this care home enough. My father in law was a resident from March 2025 until his death at the end of July.
Each and every member of staff could not do enough to make his time with them as pleasurable as it could be.

If you are looking for a care facility for a loved one then you could not go anywhere better.

Staff were very friendly and our mother loved them instantly. They were always on hand to help. There was plenty of food and drink with a regular tea trolley and biscuits which she loved. Theres lots of areas inside and out that could be used. Her room was large and spacious and always smelled nice with a lovely view. We had lots of phone calls and updates and help and support from the staff and management. They were very understanding with her dementia and supportive when she had difficult days.

My mother spent almost 12 months at Essington Manor Care Home. What a fantastic place for mom to spend the last 12 months of her life. Her treatment was outstanding, the staff were exemplary, friendly, and helpful. They offered conversation, care, and beautiful food, but also made any visitors welcome. I can't say enough about the services the team provided. A wonderful experience. Thank you.

My uncle has been here for going on a year now. I can't thank everyone enough for taking such great care of him. His room has a great view looking out over the back garden and, as he is bed bound, this is his main source of entertainment (watching the birds on the bird table fending off squirrels). It gives me great piece of mind knowing he is in good care. Thank you!

My father has been a resident at Essington Manor for 2 years. His care has been outstanding. The staff are so caring, not only to my dad but to the family also. Nothing is too much trouble. I recently went on holiday, and they kept in touch with me while I was away, sending photos of my dad. I would highly recommend this home to anyone. It's small and friendly, very personal. What a find.

My mom moved into care home in June last year. I had concerns about her going into care but I was so wrong this home was amazing from the minute we walked in, it was like home for mom. The staff are all excellent their kindness and compassion is like no other place I've seen. My mom had 3 stokes in March and was bought back to care home from hospital for end of life care. The way they looked after my mom and us as a family was exceptionally, nothing was too much trouble. They helped us a family get through this traumatic time if you ever are looking for a care home no others compare it is outstanding. I can never thank them enough they are the best.

Our mom has resided here for the past 2.5 years with dementia. This home has a homely feel, as opposed to some that feel clinical. The staff are hardworking and caring and feel that my mom couldn't be in a better place. Highly recommend!

I am so pleased my friend is a resident at Essington Manor. The staff and facilities are great and I know she will always be cared for properly 24/7.
I have personal commitments that stop me from seeing my friend as much as I would like but knowing how well she is cared for reassures me that she is in safe hands.

Would definitely recommend it for your loved one's care.
