My mum has been a resident at Eversley for about a year and we are happy that she has settled in well. The staff are friendly and take time to get to know each resident as an individual, making sure that their needs are catered for. The activities are well planned, there is something different everyday, mum enjoys karaoke time and is excited to tell us all about it, when we visit. Should there be a problem the management/staff are quick to deal with it, and report this to the family. I appreciate the hard work of the staff helping my mums stay to be a positive one. Many thanks to you all.

Michael has been very happy at Eversley since the day he arrived (over 2 1/2 years ago). He is looked after with exceptional care, and the staff are brilliant at contacting the family to keep us up to date with how he is. Staff are very friendly and treat all patients with great care. Rooms are kept clean, and there are things for residents to do and take part in. Would firmly recommend Eversley Rest Home to anyone looking for somewhere for a loved one.

Eversley have cared for my Mum, who had advanced Alzheimers, for six years. I am very pleased with the care she received and the communications from the home. Sadly, my Mum passed 17th Feb. The home requested a 'pass and pause' as the hearse carried her to her final resting place which pleased me immensely

My partner Beryl has been in the care home since August 2024. During this period, she has been looked after with very good care, especially since she is bedridden after a stroke, and she also has cancer.

I am very happy with my brother's care. The staff at Eversley are very kind and look after my brother very well. As a result, he is relaxed and happy, despite the fact that his Alzheimer's is progressing.

My mother-in-law has been living here for 18 months now. She has good care. The staff treated her with utmost respect and dignity but will also have a giggle with her. I am also treated with respect and kept informed of any incidents. Mother-in-law appears happy and settled. I would recommend this rest home.

I called my Uncle on his birthday. The first time I called him I was told he was asleep, the second time he was awake and the home quickly passed me on to him. Even though he's a bit muddled, he was in good spirits and I feel very confident that he's being well looked after. He tends to 'wear his heart on his sleeve' so I know - or have a very good idea - if he's not happy. But he was in great spirits and having visited him in the home several times I know he is being very well looked after.

We are very happy with the care that our mother receives at Eversley. She has been a resident for over 2 years now. She has a very nice room with access to the garden. It is always very clean and well-maintained. She has excellent care from all the staff and they are always very caring and kind to her. She enjoys the food and they sometimes make extra treats for her.

On visiting all staff are welcoming. I can ask for information regarding the care. The food is good and well-presented. Room very clean and clothing also fresh. Having had a recent meeting with the manager I found her very easy to talk to and very informative about my mother.

Mum was admitted to Eversley in April 2022. Prior to Mum going to Eversley she was in a temporary bed in another home while being assessed and we watched her turning old and extremely frail before our eyes.
In the first week at Eversley, Mum showed huge improvement and started gaining a little weight as she was happy and content at last!
During the last 18 months at Eversley Mum has never asked to leave, she loves the staff and her room. Mum's dementia has worsened but the staff know how to assist and keep her happy as much as possible.

I cannot praise the staff and management enough, they answer all our queries and do their utmost to keep Mum comfortable.

Care for Mum went well initially. However, as her dementia advanced, I was misled about aspects of her care. Mum wandered at night. I was told not to worry as she had an alarm mat on her bed so they would know when this occurred. However when Mum fell badly several times and went to the hospital a nurse told me that no they did not have a mat on her bed but it was on order along with a door alarm and these should be fitted in a few days. After 10 days of telling me otherwise, the Manager advised by telephone they could no longer care for Mum.
I arranged to collect her belongings and this was when I really had problems that the Manager has never resolved.

Eversley had ‘lost’ brand new clothes Mum had received from family for Christmas. They destroyed a calendar that Dad had purchased for her from a cat shelter she supports in Cyprus. I have chased the Manager at least 3 times by email and never received a reply. The Manager promised to replace the calendar but this has not materialised. Poor! Disappointed!

Reply from Lauren Goss, Director at Eversley Rest Home

Sorry we could no longer meet the needs of your mom. It was considered by the hospital and ourselves that due to developing behavioural issues that our home was no longer suitable and a more specialist facility would be required. The first fall occurred on a Friday, which resulted in a hospital...

Overall Experience

My mum went into Eversley Care home in August, I was very apprehensive about her going into a Care home but she has now settled into the home and I have peace of mind that she is now safe and well cared for. Mum had a few falls at home and I feel this was now the right decision. Mum has a lovely room that looks out onto the garden and she spends time in her room and she also takes part in some of the activities in the lounge area. The activities are excellent and they have a wide variety of choices and the posts on social media are brilliant showing them having very happy times. The staff are kind and friendly towards my mum and she seems at ease with them. The food is very good and is all home-cooked with a wide choice. The communication from the Deputy Manager is very good and I get an email on a regular basis which is appreciated during the restrictions on visiting at present. On the whole, it’s a very good home. When I can visit mum my review would probably be marked higher.

Overall Experience

My 90-year-old mother initially went to Eversley Rest Home for respite care and rehabilitation following a serious fall in August 2020. The staff did everything possible to help her settle and successfully regain her mobility. In late October she decided to stay on a permanent basis, citing the "wonderful staff and the lovely food" as two good reasons for her decision. The staff are kind and caring, with nothing being too much trouble. They are highly respectful of her wishes and have taken great care to understand her as an individual, not just as she is now, but also her history and life experiences that have shaped her as a person. Recognising Mum's need to be as independent as possible, they have supported her in this goal, but are always there to help where needed. Liaison with external health services such as the GP have been excellent. Communication with myself and my brother has been timely and supportive. I would thoroughly recommend Eversley Rest Home

Mum was admitted during the covid lockdown which was stressful but appears very happy and she loves the staff. She says they are always kind to her. The deputy manager keeps us up to date with any problems by phone and email. Any problems we have are sorted quickly. They have a Facebook page to keep up to date with activities they do with the residents. The pod they have for visiting is lovely.
