Overall Experience
Staff are pleasant friendly and helpful.
Improvements have been made to the building but more are required.
Records of general health and well being are kept meticulously
Food is good with choices

The only drawback is the return of the right laundry and hangers

Review from Christina H (Wife of Resident) published on 28 August 2025 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
My husband has been a resident here since 13/12/2024. He has been recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's, vascular dementia and Parkinson's, along with all his cardiology problems.
My husband doesn't spend time in the communal lounge he likes his own company, so he's always in his room.
His room is dark and he needs his light on constantly because there is no window for any sunlight to come through. He has a double store cupboard in his room which is used to store cleaning materials, so basically it's a store room.
He's been promised a different room, but like every thing these things take time. Unfortunately time is not on my husband's side.
We both feel that the only time he'll move from that room is when the undertaker comes for him, which is very sad.

If he was in a different room then I wouldn't hesitate to give 5 stars, but because of his room I can only give 4 stars.

This gentleman was offered a different room but refused and we are now decorating a new one for him coming up soon.

Overall Experience
My sister was treated with kindness and respect all the time she was there. The staff and management was exceptionally supportive of her needs. Food always looked very good and changed daily.

There was entertainment and bingo. Drawing and painting also outings. Always people to talk to. A very clean and friendly home to be in.
