My wife spends one day a week from 8.30am to 5.30pm. She finds the place very friendly and are very helpful towards her she suffers from a form of dementia. We think now frontal lobe after several other types have been discounted.

The staff at the care home have offered my dad superb care and support since December 2024. They are extremely friendly and communication is excellent. Nothing seems too much trouble for the team. The food is also excellent and home-cooked. Overall, the home is friendly, relaxed and clean, the care is excellent and the manager is also great. Thank you all so much.

Overall Experience

I chose this care home for my mother after the one she was in for 5 years closed. I was able to choose her a room from those that were vacant, all have en-suites. You can decorate and set the room out however you wish. As a regular visitor, I got to know all the carers, and was always welcomed. Beeches is small and cosy, and the meals were superb (all freshly cooked), with good variety. The staff are friendly and approachable. Once I got used to the staff and the running of the care home, I was happy with my choice. Sadly on the 21st of June this year mum passed away. The end-of-life care was compassionate. I was able to be with her constantly, with staff doing everything to make her comfortable, and always a drink and food on offer for myself. I still visit and always get a friendly welcome from staff and residents. I was happy with my choice, even though my mother was there less than a year.
