Overall Experience
Laurel Bank is an amazing care home with exceptional care and a brilliant staff team.
My mum loved living at Laurel Bank and I will always be extremely grateful to everyone involved in her care whilst she lived there.
Staff are empathic, caring and supportive towards the residents but also family members and visitors. The management are also great and are always around when you visit.

You can visibly see when visiting Laurel Bank that the staff team genuinely care about the residents and it's a lovely atmosphere.

Dad had been in Laurel Bank for a few years now and we can't thank them enough for how well they've looked after him, we're always greeted with a smile and they really seem to care for the residents and there families. Communication is good and they are always welcoming. Any problems are dealt with quickly and efficiently and we're forever grateful for there support

Overall Experience
My husband was taken into Laurel Bank when we could not fulfil his needs any longer at home.
Our apprehensions were soon dismissed after meeting the manager and team
My husband was transferred to the home by ambulance and settled into his room. Do not be fooled by the initial impression you get when you walk in. The building is full of character and history with well proportioned en-suite rooms across a number of floors. There are numerous day rooms and a good sized dining area for those that can feed themselves.
The staff are a credit to the manager and owners, nothing is too much trouble no matter what time of day.
We spent a considerable amount of time visiting each day during the time my husband was there, we saw nothing but loving care for every individual just as though they were their own family.
When we were stuck in traffic trying to get to be with my husband at the end the wonderful staff sat with him until we arrived.
Overwhelming gratitude to all the staff

THANK YOU xxx

Overall Experience

Laurel Bank Care Home may not be the most aesthetically appealing home but I can assure you the care is second to none. The staff from the manager right the way down through the team leaders, carers, kitchen staff, domestic staff and all the night staff (and any others I've missed) have been exceptional; more than exceptional. Our experience of their care has been humbling. The respect they all showed to my dad before he passed away was astounding at all times; to my mum, me, my sisters and all the family too.

I genuinely cannot rate the staff at Laurel Bank highly enough. It's shameful that they like all in the care sector are so undervalued and underpaid.
