We have been very pleased with all aspects of Genesis care home. The staff are excellent always welcoming and helpful. The home itself is very clean and my mum's room is always well provided with towels, toilet roll and her washing is always taken washed and returned very regularly. The entertainment is also very good and the food is also excellent.
Thank you for your lovely review. We're delighted to hear that you're pleased with all aspects of your mum's care. It means a great deal to us to know you feel everything is going well and that our team has made you feel welcome. Your kind words will be shared with the staff, who work hard every day to provide a warm and supportive environment.
Best care home in Macclesfield lovely homely interior, fabulous food and amazing staff. All really friendly and professional would be very happy to recommend it to anyone. It feels more like a hotel than a care centre. The atmosphere is very pleasant and all the staff are extremely caring.
The decision to send a loved one into care is a decision that is very hard to do but sometimes it is the best for all concerned. So if you have made the hard decision to place your loved one in a care home, I would highly recommend Genesis Care Home.
The staff are so friendly, kind and full of empathy.
My mother is in her mid 90's and had Covid twice (this shows how much care and attention my mother got through it).
They are always doing fun and wonderful activities.
My mother is so happy here.
I cannot thank all the staff enough for all their care for my mother.
My mother was resident at Genesis Care Home for two years, during which she received excellent care from the dedicated, friendly staff. There was good continuity of staff so she had some good friends ar a time when it was not easy for us to visit her due to the 160-mile round trip.
I would recommend this care home to anyone.
I never phone in advance so I drop in at Genesis to visit my relative without warning on a fairly irregular basis. I am very pleased, therefore, to always find her room clean and welcoming. My relative, who can do little for herself now, always has clean clothes and looks cared for. The staff have endless patience with all the residents and I regularly see the same faces which I hope is a sign of a happy working environment. In the two years, my relative has been in the home the family has never had any serious issues or complaints. Please keep up this standard, Genesis!

Meet the Team (3)

My long tenure at Ashfields has given me comprehensive insight into every aspect of residential care from frontline service to staff supervision and compliance with regulatory standards. I pride myself on being approachable, reliable and proactive in promoting a positive environment for both residents and staff. My leadership style is built on empathy, respect and teamwork which I believe are key to maintaining a high quality, person-centred care home. I am eager to continue my role and use my extensive experience to lead a care home that shares my values of compassion, integrity and excellence.”

Starting off in my career as a care assistant I completed my NVQ 2 & 3 in health and social care, since 2009 I completed my NVQ 4 in health and social care and NVQ 2 in team leadership my role then became a senior care assistant.
My passion for my job grew and with working alongside a great team over the years, having a great relationship with outside professionals and thriving to learn more skill and knowledge I decided to progress my career and in 2016 I became the deputy manager, I feel great pride in what I have achieved and continue to feel awarded by making people feel happy and safe in their retirement. "

I've worked as an administrator for Winnie Care for the past 20 years, and it's a role I'm genuinely passionate about. I take pride in being the behind-the-scenes support that helps the home run smoothly. I enjoy the variety in my work — from managing records and coordinating with healthcare professionals to supporting staff and families. Over the years I've built strong relationships and seen the difference that good organization and communication can make in the quality of care residents receive. It's incredibly rewarding to know that my role helps create a safe, welcoming, and well-managed environment for both residents and staff.”
