My husband has been in Lavender Lodge for just over a year and seems happy and content. He is well cared for and the staff are very kind and meet his needs with patience and compassion .The home is always very welcoming, clean, safe and smells nice. The food is good and cakes are freshly made and the residents are given treats little and often .For example milk shakes with extra protein to help with weight loss. Daniella ,the manageress and all her staff are a credit to their profession because they genuinely care for the people they are looking after which makes a happy home and a happy husband with a lovely smile. We are in a special situation. My Mum is a Hungarian lady with dementia. I was worried about that, we can't find a good care home to my Mum. The Blackpool social service helped us so much to find a good care home to her. They offered us a few care homes, but after the conversation with the manager and the owner of Lavender Lodge we decided my Mum's new home is this lounge. I think so, that was the best decision, because the staff, the managers are so friendly, the place is safe, clean and they live together, like a big lovefull family. I was worried about the language barrier, because my Mum can't speak in English. With Google translation they can make very good conversations, and the communication is smooth and easy. My Mum is really happy here, and we are happy as well, because this place is the best to my Mum. I can offer Lavevender Lodge to every one.
