Visiting

  • Visiting at Rosegarland Care Home The team know how important time with family and friends is, and visiting at Rosegarland Care Home is warmly welcomed and encouraged. There are currently no general visiting restrictions in place. Loved ones can visit at reasonable times during the day. Visits may take place in residents’ bedrooms (with their consent), in communal areas, or in the garden. The team simply ask visitors to be mindful of mealtimes, care routines, and residents who may prefer quiet time. To help keep everyone safe, please do not visit if you feel unwell, especially with coughs, colds, sickness, or diarrhoea. Hand cleaning facilities are available, and they encourage all visitors to clean their hands when arriving and leaving. Staff may offer extra guidance if there is a temporary increase in illness in the home. Residents are encouraged to enjoy trips out with family and friends. The team just ask that you let staff know when leaving, give an approximate return time, and inform them of any health concerns that arise while out. They also help residents stay connected through phone calls, video calls, and messaging or social media where appropriate. If a resident becomes seriously unwell or is receiving end-of-life care, visiting will always be supported with compassion and flexibility. If public health guidance changes or there is an outbreak of illness, visiting arrangements may need to be reviewed. Families will always be informed as soon as possible. If you have any questions about visiting, please contact the home — the team are always happy to help.

Parking

  • The home has a private car park to the front of the property which can be accessed via Rosebank Place.

Fantastic place, makes my great aunt feel right at home. We started using it for rest bite care when my mother went on holiday but unfortunately after her death my great aunt needed to move in permanently.
The staff are friendly & helpful and my great aunt doesn't want to move anywhere else as she is so happy.

Highly recommend it as the staff make the residence and families so at ease.

One of the most difficult decisions you will ever make is having a loved one go into care. The team at Rosgarland made our mum feel so loved and at home and helped the whole family with the transition. Mum was truly cared for in all aspects of the word.

I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a care home that feels as much like home as it possibly could.
