Getting on for a year now and the home has been welcoming. It has understood the need to adjust at times to improve the care environment for the residents. Things have changed over period, including management team but the home seems settled now and the property improvements have been exceptional.

I am very happy with the second refurbishment because it makes the home look very nice indeed. A great deal of thought has obviously been applied and the choice of decorations and fittings are beautiful. I would like to commend all the carers and staff for all their help that they provide in assisting me, particularly when I need to go to my room for any reason. Everyone is very helpful and kind and treat me with respect for which I am extremely grateful.

Overall Experience
My Dad was a resident at Meadowbrook Manor for the last seven months of his life. His, and our, experience was extremely good, from our initial visit up until his eventual passing.
As with any such situation there were minor occasional problems but these were hugely outweighed by the exceptionally high quality of care that he received there. His needs were met in all regards. His dignity was respected at all times and the staff regularly went above and beyond to provide the precise care and support that he needed. As a family we were kept well informed and we felt listened to at all times.
Dad's final days were handled particularly well: he was so well cared for and we, as a family, were given everything we needed with the staff being incredibly supportive. We were particularly touched by some staff being able to accept our invitation to attend Dad's funeral.

We would highly recommend Meadowbrook Manor as a suitable placement for an elderly relative.

As mum's son, I have total peace of mind knowing mum is a resident at Meadowbrook/ Twelvetrees.
The staff treat her like a member of the family and nothing is too much trouble.
The recent refurbishment has transformed the home and it's such a welcoming and safe environment.
I know mum also enjoys the day trips out to local Garden centres etc etc .

I would totally recommend this care home for any elderly person.
