Review from J B (Stepson of Resident) published on 29 November 2024 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience

My stepdad came into Bridlington Manor in June 2024. The staff are very nice, very kind and caring. It has been difficult for him as he is virtually blind and little mobility but he is cared for very well. The location is good as it is quite near to the seafront, so good when I take him for a walk in his wheelchair.

I have used this care home on numerous occasions and this was the longest time I've stayed on one respite visit. As per usual my whole care package was excellent throughout.

My decision to enter into care was with great trepidation after so many bad reports of care homes, however it was the best decision I could have made I am very happy here and could not have better care. The whole staff are very caring and always have our welfare at heart nothing is too much trouble, they are at hand 24/1 and they have all become friends real friends.

My parents had only been at the care home for about five months, when my father had a massive stroke. He passed away three weeks later. The staff were wonderful. They could not have done more if they tried. The support and care they gave my mother was amazing. I had never had to deal with a funeral before but they gave me some advice and set me on the right path. They showed me so much respect to my father on the night he died. The palliative care they gave was touching. I owe them so much. The home is outstanding. Thank you to all concerned.
