We cannot thank the staff at Cumberworth Lodge enough for the care and support they gave my auntie as well as myself and my family. From the moment my wife visited for the first time we knew that we had found the right home for my aunty and we are extremely grateful for all they did for her. A wonderful
place - full of very kind and caring people - who go above and beyond. Thank you all so much.

My dear mum has been in Cumberworth Lodge for over 2 years. The care she received is fantastic. The staff are all lovely, her face lights up every time they enter the room. She enjoys the food which always looks/smells amazing. The home is always spotless, the management is efficient and approachable.
Her care is wonderful - could not ask for more.

My mum had a number of short respite visits, while I was away on holiday over a three year period, and always said how well she was looked after in Cumberworth Lodge. The staff always made her feel very welcome and treated her with respect. Mum went to Cumberworth Lodge to recuperate after a hospital
stay but unfortunately was placed on end of life whilst there. The staff were amazing with Mum and also extremely supportive towards the family. We were made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble for the staff at an exceptionally difficult time for us. Mum was cared for very well during this time and treated with dignity and respect at all times. All the staff were polite and friendly in all my dealings with them. Cumberworth Lodge is very well managed by the manager and her deputy, who were both very approachable. The manager was away during Mum’s final days, so the deputy was in charge and went above and beyond in the care of Mum. I would definitely recommend this home.

Cumberworth Lodge Care Home is an excellent care home which is very well run by the manager. Without exception, all the staff were very caring, kind and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. They were always welcoming and caring to the family. My mum spent her last six months here and
I can't fault the way she was looked after which was very reassuring. A very big thank you to them all.

A very friendly team that gave an excellent service from an initial interview to the short respite stay for my father.
All very friendly staff that you should be proud to employ.
I have written a letter of thanks as a personal touch but would just like to say a very big thank you to all the staff
that made my father's stay welcoming and enjoyable.

The manager at Cumberworth Lodge Care Home excelled herself in order to accommodate my mum in an "emergency" situation. I cannot fault any of the staff in their care and manner and the way they looked after Mum. It was very reassuring to all the family to know Mum was in such good hands. I would like

Since my stay at Cumberworht Lodge, I have received nothing but kind words, and care is so good, it could not be better. I would certainly recommend Cumberwoth to anyone who wants to know where they can be looked after and cared for with compassion.

During the COVID-19 with only one family member able to visit, Mum has continued to be happy and contented, which in my opinion, proves the careworkers are doing an excellent job. Staff are very caring, thoughtful, and friendly, and should you have a question, they are always ready to help. Nothing
is too much trouble. Our family is very grateful to staff members for their attentive care, as it was a very difficult decision for us to make, but we couldn't be happier as we know Mum is being cared for so well.

My mother is being well cared for, especially in these difficult times. The rules are strict and my mother has so far been kept safe from COVID-19. The staff is always courteous, kind, and helpful and the manager is very efficient, approachable, and professional. I know my mother is being well cared

The care home is well-run and provides safe care. My relative is almost 99 years old, has all her faculties and would welcome more time with staff to talk. She does not wish to take part in group activities but would like 1:1 time. My relative likes small meals but her choices are not always available
or she is not always asked. On the whole, the staff are excellent.
