The care staff are a credit to the home as are the senior staff. It's great that its a small home as all the residents can get plenty of interaction from the staff.
The rooms look a little tired and could do with a little redecoration.
The food is very basic especially tea time. And there is no choice

Staff are friendly and helpful. Dad seems to be getting on well and comments that he enjoys the food. His room is a good size and comfortable with a bathroom near by. Mealtimes are protected which can make visiting slightly difficult when working full time, but it is good for residents to be able to
eat without interruptions.

I have to say Belmont house is great. My mother is so happy there she is like a different person. They have her up and dressed everyday and looking clean and rested. The staff there are all very caring and friendly and they always make sure there are plenty of activities go on every day. I'd like to
mention Fiona in particular , she's such a caring considerate person. Always attending to all my mothers needs and keeps me updated with everything. I feel blessed to have found Belmont house for my mother. Great work from Sandy too and of course the rest of the staff. A big thank you to you all.

We feel extremely happy and grateful that Dad managed to secure a place at Belmont House. His care and general day to day living are met to an exceptional standard. Staff and management are always on hand, nothing is ever too much trouble and we're more than confident that Dad is getting the best care
possible in a homely, welcoming environment. I can't praise the management and staff enough, they treat Dad like a member of their own family, with love and respect. Many thanks for all your help, care, and support.

Home from home. My Dad and I visit regularly, and we're made to feel part of the family. All staff, especially Sandy and Fiona treat Mum with nothing but love and respect. My Dad misses Mum daily but he can see she is getting the best possible care. Nothing is ever too much trouble, we regularly witness
the interactions and activities with all residents. We feel very lucky to have found Belmont.

I cannot praise the staff at Belmont House enough in the way that they all care for my mum making it a home from home. From the very first meeting and subsequent move to the home their priority was ensuring mum was happy and settled in. Nothing is too much trouble through the day or during the night.
I am lucky to be able to drop in and visit mum regularly and I am always greeted with a smile and made welcome. Very happy with every aspect.

This is the worst place I've seen the care is horrible the mangeress is the rudest person I have ever met shouted abuse to me from front door because we had to move my mother in law away from this dirty run down lack of care my mother had toe nails that disgusting they were an inch longer than her toes
and in a disgusting state and I had given them £35 to get them done ,when the old people owned it , it was nice but it's definitely not now I really wouldn't keep an animal in there now . And how they can employ that rude mannerless woman they had in charge I don't know I just hope they have got rid of her now for the sake of the residents I could say a lot more but I hope people take note of what I have already said

Following a recent stay in hospital, my friend was unable to return home and was extremely anxious about needing to move into residential care. From her initial visit to the home, the staff were very welcoming, kind, and calming, making her feel more comfortable. Initially, she spent a lot of time in
her room, but after only a few weeks is spending time in the lounge, chatting to other residents and staff. I feel that this is in the main, due to the support she has received. Family are welcome to visit at most times of the day and are involved in discussions regarding her care and needs.

After visiting a number of care homes in the area we chose Belmont House for my mum to move to after a long stay in hospital following a bleed on her brain. She has been there for just over 4 weeks now, the family and more importantly my mum are really happy with the home and they have helped her settle
in quickly.

My husband was in Belmont for three years until his death. He had Alzheimer's but thought of Belmont as his home. The care he was given was second to none. He was always treated with respect, and always well cared for in every respect. I can only praise the home and staff who not only looked after my
husband but also had my welfare at heart.
