Mum moved into The Old Deanery earlier this year for respite only, always having said she would never go into residential care. However within a week she was calling it home and wanted to stay. This is a testament to the standard of care and warm homely feeling at the Deanery. Mum considered the staff
friends and family and they all showed her the same consideration.

Nothing was ever too much effort and dietary needs always considered and the cook would always check that the residents had had enough to eat.

In her final days the manager was outstanding, coming in on days off and staying late into the night to ensure that mum was receiving all the attention she needed from nurses and doctors and made family staying with mum feel welcome and at home.

I can not praise the staff and management enough and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
