My lovely mum was very happy here for two years and the manager is marvellous. She went out of her way to help with Mum's specific needs in a quiet but very useful and well-informed way. The staff were extremely kind and caring to my mum and they made me feel welcome at all times (I used to visit three
times a week and stay the full day). Mum ended up in a lovely room overlooking the harbour. She loved the view and was always nice and cosy. Even when Mum was frail, the staff did their best to include her in activities and outings. One problem is rather weak WIFI signal but the staff brought Mum to the phone so I could speak to her daily/every other day when/if I could not visit. They understood how important this level of contact was and duly obliged. Although some homes are a bit more trendy and state of the art, Min-y-Mor is really strong on kindness and the ladies there are truly caring, with almost all of them with truly loving attitudes to old people .. angels really.
