I had to make the hardest decision back in November 2016, placing my father-in-law into LTC, after a few trails in other homes thankfully I found Parkside. Wow, he, or us as a family, could not ask for a better care package. He was treated with the utmost respect and more importantly as an individual. I think Parkside have a policy of 'no boredom allowed' as there is always something going on to help stimulate the residents and encouraging all individuals to take part no matter what their abilities. As for the staff, what a team. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them, even on days when they didn't know if they were coming, going, been or gone, always smiling, very polite and very resident first. Unfortunately, my father-in-law passed in May 2017. We as a family, do have some comfort in knowing that his last few months of life were spent happy and fulfilled and that is all thanks to the wonderful staff at Parkside. Keep up the amazing work. We as a family will forever be in their debt.

My mother was placed in care after a sudden loss of her husband (my Dad) who was her main carer. At first, I thought the home to be a little old fashioned but so is my mother. Saying that, her bedroom is large, clean, light and airy. Mam settled in well. She has been in Parkside for 2 and a half years now, in that time the staff have been very kind to her with lots of chats and cwtch.
Staff have tried to take her out on trips, but Mam is happy to watch tele or sleep. She is 93 this year and has earned her rest.
The food is plentiful and well prepared, staff try to make the days fulfilling. The sitting room is large with comfortable chairs. All in all, we are very happy with the care given. Mam is happy too.
