The personal care and dignity afforded by the staff have been a wonderful blessing! There is stability both with staff and other residents, an important factor for those who live in care.
My sister has been well-looked after for over more than 25 years. During periods when she was not well, the staff were very patient over an extended period of time to help her recover at her own pace. The staff gave her the "space" to be herself during difficult periods.
In terms of the property, the home has been upgraded several times over the years. It is a lovely home, located in a small quiet town in Wales. My sister has her own room with an en-suite, furnished lovingly with objects that reflect her character.
I cannot stop singing praises for Bryn Irfon!
From the first visit, we knew we had found the perfect place for our son to make his home. The care and support that he has received has been amazing, he is so happy and settled and there is genuine love and respect shown to him. His room has been personalised and his ‘quirks” catered for in every respect. As parents, we feel welcome to call in whenever we want to and we are kept up to date with newsletters and phone calls. We would not hesitate to recommend Bryn Irfon, it’s Manager and Staff to anyone.
We visit Bryn Irfon regularly to visit our son who is very well looked after by all the staff. We travel three hours there and back on the same day and we are greeted by all the staff on arrival and also the other residents which makes the home a proper family environment. If there are any issues the manager or staff contact us by phone immediately. So we thank them all for the excellent care he is given.
